User:BilledMammal/Mass Creation Draftification
Option 1: Carlossuarez46 Iranian villages
Proposed by FOARP; these mass created stubs have significant inaccuracy issues due to issues with the sources that were used and editors have been attempting to clean them up for years. My understanding is that 1a is likely to have no false positives - villages that actually exist and are valid under WP:GEOLAND, while 1b may have some.
Option 1a: Without coordinates
Quarry:query/73769 - 540 articles
Option 1b: With and without coordinates
Quarry:query/73968 - 4019 articles
Option 2: Carlossuarez46 Azerbaijan villages
Similar to Option 1, and may be possible to combine with it, particularly if the more limited "a" options are used.
Option 2a: Without coordinates
Quarry:query/73970 - 53 articles
Option 2b: With and without coordinates
Quarry:query/73771 - 2160 articles
Option 3: Lugnuts Olympian Stubs
This option is similar to the trial draftification proposal. The differences are:
- Includes articles up to 3000 bytes (previously 2500)
- Includes articles with contributions from other editors of under 300 bytes (increased from between -200 and 200 bytes, due to that restriction being too conservative)
I am also looking at expanding the list of permitted sources; there are many other database sources, often lacking independence, that either were used by Lugnuts to create the article on that were added as part of an external links or authority control template. The sources that I am considering adding are:

Option 3a: Between 1894 and 1960
Quarry:query/73971 - 8131 articles
Option 3b: All
Quarry:query/73966 - 23063 articles
Option 3c: Between 1894 and 1960, all database sources
Quarry:query/73979 - 11357 articles
Option 3d: All years, all database sources
Quarry:query/73978 - 32046 articles
Option 4: BlackJack Cricketers
Quarry:query/73982 - 805 articles
BlackJack (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) is a blocked sockmaster, who mass created articles primary on Cricketers.
The issue with BlackJack's articles are that they sometimes contain offline references. However, every offline reference BlackJack has provided that I have been able to access has been a database source, and in many cases aren't relevant to the article; in 2019 an editor went around and removed many, but not all, of them, on the basis that they were a boilerplate ref added to hundreds of articles.
Aside from these offline sources, these articles are sourced only to one or more of the following database sources:
- cricketarchive.com (example)
- espncricinfo.com (example)
- venn.lib.cam.ac.uk ([venn.lib.cam.ac.uk/cgi-bin/search-2018.pl?sur=&suro=w&fir=&firo=c&cit=&cito=c&c=all&z=all&tex=GRMN842FS&sye=&eye=&col=all&maxcount=50 example])
- thegazette.co.uk (example)
- viaf.org (example)
- worldcat.org (example)
- isni.oclc.org (example)
Otherwise, the requirements are similar to the initial draftification proposal. The differences are:
- Includes articles up to 2000 bytes (reduced from 2500; while the ones between 2000 and 2500 bytes don't contain better sources, they are less boilerplate (example))
- Includes articles with contributions from other editors of under300 bytes (increased from between -200 and 200 bytes, due to that restriction being too conservative)
Option 5: Lugnuts Cricketers
Quarry:query/73984 - 5201 articles
It uses the same criteria as the first draftification proposal;
These articles would be sourced only to one or more of the following sources:
