Sâncraiu de Mureş (Hungarian: Marosszentkirály, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈmɒrossɛntkiraːj] meaning 'Saint King on Mureş River') is a commune in Mureş County, Romania comprising 2 villages:

  • Nazna / Náznánfalva
  • Sâncraiu de Mureş

Demographics

The commune has an ethnically mixed population. According to the 2002 Census it has a population of 6,268 of which 61.80% or 3,487 are Romanians and 33.15% or 2.078 are Székely Hungarians.
