- A man storms a kindergarten class in Kaiyuan, China, and sprayed chemicals, injuring 51 children and three teachers. (CNN)
- Police in Uganda raid a gay-friendly bar and charge 67 people with "common nuisance" in what is described as the "latest attack on [the country] LGBT community". (The New York Times)
- An ex policeman kills two including an Ex-Thai prime minister's lawyer and plaintiff before the gunman is killed by returning fire. The shooting happened in Chanthaburi province, Thailand (ABC News)

- 2019 Hong Kong protests
- As the situation worsens with clashes in the Central financial heart of the city, police say violence is bringing the city to "brink of total breakdown". Large scale protests continues near City University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and other districts such as Central and Tai Po. (Reuters)
- After police shot a protester with live ammunition, Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam speaks out and labels the protesters as "selfish" for "paralyzing" the city and urges all students not to take part in protests. (Reuters)
- Police investigate protestors for attempted murder after they were filmed setting a 57-year-old man on fire during an argument. (CNA)

- The Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez from the PSOE and Pablo Iglesias, leader of left-wing Podemos, announce a first government agreement that will constitute the first coalition government in Spain's democratic history. This occurs after the failing to reach this agreement in Summer and the rising of Vox. (El País)

- The Parliament of Catalonia approves a resolution expressing their willingness to exercise the right to self-determination concretely, mocking the Constitutional Court warnings, which suspends its effects the shortly thereafter. (El País) (The New York Times)
