article on Commission?
editI have over the years written several short articles about members of the Commission that was in charge of the district from 1871 to 1975 (most recently John C. Gotwals). There is a category for members of the Commission, but as far as I can tell there is no article on the Commission, and in fact the articles on Washington, D.C. mostly don't even mention it. I could try to throw something together, but I'm hoping someone here with better access to DC sources will step in. Brianyoumans (talk) 23:17, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

editFeatured list candidate
editList of artwork at the United States Capitol complex has been nominated as a featured list candidate; the nomination can be found here. Since the list falls under this WikiProject's scope, I am posting this notice here. It currently needs more comments, so if you've got time, please comment on the nomination page. Thanks in advance!
