Coordinators' working group

Hi! I'd like to draw your attention to the new WikiProject coordinators' working group, an effort to bring both official and unofficial WikiProject coordinators together so that the projects can more easily develop consensus and collaborate. This group has been created after discussion regarding possible changes to the A-Class review system, and that may be one of the first things discussed by interested coordinators.

All designated project coordinators are invited to join this working group. Biased articles

I have found many articles in the Cold War project to be biased towards the American side, we need to add to our goals to make all the articles not biased and from views of both western and eastern that they would agree upon 99.55.104.34 (talk) 02:20, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Article alerts

This is a notice to let you know about Article alerts, a fully-automated subscription-based news delivery system designed to notify WikiProjects and Taskforces when articles are entering Articles for deletion, Requests for comment, Peer review and other workflows (full list). The reports are updated on a daily basis, and provide brief summaries of what happened, with relevant links to discussion or results when possible. A certain degree of customization is available; WikiProjects and Taskforces can choose which workflows to include, have individual reports generated for each workflow, have deletion discussion transcluded on the reports, and so on. An example of a customized report can be found here.

If you are already subscribed to Article Alerts, it is now easier to report bugs and request new features. We are also in the process of implementing a "news system", which would let projects know about ongoing discussions on a wikipedia-wide level, and other things of interest. The developers also note that some subscribing WikiProjects and Taskforces use the display=none parameter, but forget to give a link to their alert page. Your alert page should be located at "Wikipedia:PROJECT-OR-TASKFORCE-HOMEPAGE/Article alerts". Questions and feedback should be left at Wikipedia talk:Article alerts.

Inner German border

Over the last few months I've been carrying out a sort of one-man Wikiproject on the end of the Cold War - next month is the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the opening of the border between the two Germanies. As well as carrying out a great deal of research, I went to Germany and cycled nearly the full length of the former border, taking a large number of photographs and doing a lot of on-the-ground research over the course of several weeks. I've rewritten and greatly expanded the inner German border article and will be creating and expanding various other related articles in the coming weeks. I'm aiming to get the article up to Featured Article standard, but as a first step I'd appreciate it if it could be peer reviewed and reassessed. -- ChrisO (talk) 14:49, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Mosadegh

Its true that Kermit Roozvelt of the CIA together with the $3m cash that he had in that suitcase with him, managed to arrange a codeta against Mosadegh, but he never addressed the Shah so directly to tell him that they would do it with or without him, the reason is obvious, because the Shah had long been waiting for a chance to get rid of Mosadegh as he had pushed the Shah into a corner and had cut salaries paid to his family and himself by a large amont, most attacks were made against Shah' sister Princess Ashraf and his mother, Taj-al-molok ,, Mosadegh actually sent them both to exile to Paris,, so the Shah didnt need to make a decision as he saw his thrown in big danger so he would have definatly agreed with any plots against Mosadegh. The mink coat to Ashraf dates 12 years earlier and it was from Stalin of Russia and had nothing to do with the era of Mosadegh, when Ashraf went to Moscow to pursuade Stalin to pull his troops out of Iran's Azerbaijan province, she managed to win his heart too and as a result slept with him four or five times and as the result Russia pulled out of Iran some 25 days later without giving any explanation. this was the only country that Russia had pulled out of after the war. We owe Azerbaijan to Ashraf's imagination. something that Ashraf always said and probably still says is that Stalin brought the whole world to its knees and I brought him to his knees. The only true chance that Iran had since the 1906 constitutional revolution till now for the rule of law and democracy was taken away by CIA's Roozvelt and MI6's Shapour Reporter,, it is this particular incident that will remain on the minds of Iranians for a long time,, this is why they would never believe that the US wold do anything for the good of the Iranian nation because if it did have any good intentions then it would not have pulled Mosadegh down. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.132.209.196 (talk) 08:57, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
