Note to Sepsis II and Brewcrewer

edit

Can the two of you stop edit warring and discuss the tag on this talk page? Ryan Vesey 19:58, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Warning. I am going to close the report at WP:ANEW as warned. Tehcnically, no one breached 3RR, at least per Ryan's counts (I didn't bother checking them). However, we do have a number of editors who have been behaving poorly. For the duration of this AfD, no one should add a {{SPA}} tag to any editor's entry, even if everyone unanimously agrees that it belongs. I trust the closing admin to evaluate the votes without the "benefit" of the tag.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:08, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Adding an SPA tag is just like making a comment that if removed is considered vandalism. The removal of the tag should be blocked for vandalism not edit warring. To make things easier to understand would it be preferable if right below the !vote I place the following: "Comment: This user has made few edits outside of this topic and the closing admin should take this into account". Okay, thanks, --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 03:23, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
If you were to make a comment that wasn't outrageously ad hominem then, yeah, sure, removing it could be considered vandalism. As it stands, you were trying to characterise the !vote by an individual who edits broadly within the affected topic area as being worth less than others. I don't understand what "pfft" means and the rest of the comment was logically incoherent and factually incorrect. I should now remove your comment because by claiming I made an ad hominem you made an ad hominem. Also, don't make claims that can be easily verifiable as false. Look at his contrib history and show me more than a dozen edits outside of the topic area. --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 19:17, 4 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
