Suspected sockpuppets

1) In Spanish Wikipedia User Domenico has been blocked twice by making changes without consensus [1]. He recently participated in a lengthy discussion without getting consensus, and again, he began to make changes to different articles. After receiving several warnings ([2] [3] [4]) Domenico decided to withdraw from Spanish Wikipedia [5].
2) Almost at the same time, User 83.34.153.98 made similar changes to those that longed Domenico, but in English Wikipedia [6], and in Simple English Wikipedia [7]
3) Later on, in English Wikipedia, user Santos30 was involved in an edit war, precisely, with the same subject [8] (The subject is about the use of the Cross of Burgundy flag to identify the Spanish Empire and its territories in America, but Domenico, IP 83.34.153.98 , and Santos 30 refuse this flag because they believe that is only a Carlist or Fascist symbol). We have been discussing this issue in the page talk of the Spanish Empire article in English Wikipedia, but while we are performing this discussion, Santos began to remove the flag of the Cross of Burgundy in other articles, this time with another argument, with the same argument about Carlism, or just without argument [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15].
4) Even more, Santos asked to change the name of some files in Commons [16] [17]. I do not understand why, but when these names changed, these files can not be seen in articles in Spanish Wikipedia, probably neither in others wikipedias.
The behavior of these accounts is very similar: long absences, impose a point of view without consensus in several articles (in this case, the target is to eliminate the Cross of Burgundy flag, with the same argument, with other argument or just without argument), and edit in the same type of items.
5) In August 9, 2012 I have already asked this same request at Wikimedia [18]. After discussing this request on the mailing list, steward Marco Aurelio answered me that I must go to each project and ask for a CU.
6) Meanwhile the same request was made at Spanish Wikipedia, the result was positive. After that, Domenico/Santos30 was blocked for the third time: six months. Domenico had another recent sockpuppet account (Leonciolima) blocked once because edit war too. But User:83.34.153.98 has not been confirmed because this account was used at English Wikipedia, Simple English Wikipedia and Commons.
I would like to report this incident on the board in order to evaluate this behavior (I mean, keep making changes in other articles even when the discussion is not over). As you can read my reasons in Meta, there are several articles that have been affected, especially for the renaming of some files in Commons which has affected other Wikipedias too.
Note 1: In Spanish Wikipedia the retired template means nothing, in fact some editors use it to get attention or to slam their editions when they are angry about a situation. Later on they back again.
Note 2: If you review his contributions you will notice that Santos30 was a sleeping acount that began editing after Domenico's withdraw at Spanish Wikipedia.
Note 3: Sorry, I did not come before because it was extremely difficult to understand the way to use this page. Jaontiveros (talk) 15:14, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Santos 30 has been blocked for long term disruption.[19] On Retroversion of the sovereignty to the people, 79.152.51.59, [20] 88.25.54.177, [21], 83.44.82.57, [22] [23] and 81.33.77.224 [24] have been trying to reseore Santos30's version of the article. On Treaty of Villafáfila 83.44.82.57 [25] [26] and 81.33.77.224 [27] have attempted to restore Santos 30s version. At New Spain, where Santos30's original research was extensively discussed,[28] 79.152.51.59, [29] 88.25.54.177, [30] 83.44.82.57, [31] and 81.33.77.224 [32] have attempted to restore Santos30's original research to the article. Added the IP 88.27.63.130, which has re-added Santos30's original research to New Spain [33] [34] and Viceroyalty of Peru [35] [36] and begun to follow me to other articles.[37] [38] [39] [40] Edward321 (talk) 03:27, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No known accounts besides the original, but a sweep for sleepers based on the IPs might be helpful. Edward321 (talk) 13:42, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Question Are there any accounts that are suspect? CheckUser with just suspected IPs does not really help use the tool. If it is clear the IPs are the account, then WP:DUCK. Keegan (talk) 04:12, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Closing the case as there is nothing more to do. The IP addresses are all clearly the same person, and possibly Santos. But it looks like he's operating across multiple mobile ranges, so blocking is not going to be helpful. Page protection is your best defense here, and I see it has already been applied to some of the articles. Someguy1221 (talk) 00:55, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
