Several weeks ago, 68.194 made this edit, and Observer later admitted that she had made the edit in an attempt to prove a point, and referred to it as her "silly game". Observer was later banned for incivility and other issues.

Recently, the IP made this edit. It's not a particularly significant edit, but that seems like block evasion to me. I brought this up at WP:ANI and was told to open an SPI. — HelloAnnyong ^{(say whaaat?!)} 19:16, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

ObserverNY comments on "enrolled in vs attend" hereand edited anonymously on other pages here Most definitely is ObserverNY. Doesn’t matter if it is just a “grammar fix.” That IP needs to be blocked as well. La mome (talk) 20:49, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

•  Administrator note - While it could quite possibly be ObserverNY, the edit is nothing more than a simple grammar fix. I don't see that any action is really necessary here, although I will leave this up for another administrator to take a look at. NW (Talk) 19:25, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Back in October 2009, ObserverNY (talk · contribs) was indef blocked for sockpuppeting as an IP and vandalizing as an IP to prove a point. Recently we've seen a bunch of edits by 68.194.254.7 on some articles where ObserverNY used to be active - namely IB Diploma Programme, International Baccalaureate and List of International Baccalaureate people. Further, ObserverNY first puppeted as 68.194.235.103, and now we're seeing edits from 68.194.254.7. The two addresses have the same subnet (68.194.0.0/16) and are from the same IP.

This seems to be a pretty straightforward case of block evasion. — HelloAnnyong ^{(say whaaat?!)} 21:10, 8 February 2010 (UTC)
