Suspected sockpuppets
Evidence submitted by Steamroller Assault (talk)

Once sockpuppeteer was blocked for spamming or advertising (example here), User:Eurobeer4eva started the same behavior (example here). Steamroller Assault (talk) 16:34, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I added two recently blocked editors, Smokefromtheoak and Gorbachooff, plus a new spammer, Beerin europe, spamming the same site. --Ronz (talk) 18:24, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Administrator note Bagged and tagged. These accounts identify clearly enough from behavior that I don't feel a CU is needed. Leaving for final clerk review. TNXMan 20:16, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

Evidence submitted by bobrayner (talk)

Shortly after "Eurobeerguide" and "Gorbachooff" were indefinitely blocked, "Suffolkbeer" appears, doing similar linkspam (and similar personal attacks). Another attempt to evade block? bobrayner (talk) 06:04, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Having been involved with some of the socks of Eurobeerguide (here, as well as with another sock not listed in either of these investigations, User:Oakfromthesmoke), I'm wondering if someone should inform this persistent spammer of the blacklist in order to curb this behavior. Steamroller Assault (talk) 06:37, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just addeed another one (User:Yerobeergyde) currently editing and not found in either investigation. Steamroller Assault (talk) 06:41, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
He knows about the blacklist. That's the whole point of these attacks, to get my website onto the blacklist. If you look at the earlier history of this sockpuppet you'll see that originally he tried to remove my website directly. Now he's taking this approach. Just to make this clear http://www.europeanbeerguide.net/ is my website and I am not responsible for these sockpuppet spam attacks. The sockpuppet has a weird obsession with me and has spent the last 18 months attacking any wikipedia edits I make and leaving abusive comments on my blog. His attacks have got a bit more subtle, but the object is still the same: to remove any links to my website from wikipedia. He recently left an abusive comment on my blog saying exactly that.Patto1ro (talk) 14:04, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Administrator note All accounts have been blocked, pretty duck-ish. This needs to be listed under WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Eurobeerguide, but I'm not sure how this is done. Is it a pagemove or cut and paste? TNXMan 16:36, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
