Similar editing habits, such as redirecting Chinese names of people to their respective articles, as well as the use of the linktext template on Chinese characters. Lonelydarksky (暗無天日) contact me (聯絡) 03:36, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly the same modus operandi as Calvin Marquess, see 1 and 2. Dave ♠♣♥♦™№1185©♪♫® 12:50, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo. I am a Japanese Wikipedian. User:Eternal Prince of Persia make some redirect of Vietnamese name and add to some Vietnamese Articles in Kanji in Japanese Wikipedia. His actions are same with User:Earth Wikipedian (talk · contribs) and others.

Vietnamese names are officially written in the Alphabet after 1945. And they must be transferred in Katakana in Japan. His actions are annoying.--Ashtray (talk) 04:19, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Similar bizarre editing habits. He used to redirect Chinese names of people to their respective articles and use the linktext template on Chinese characters. Now he makes unnecessary changes between simplified and traditional Chinese text on various articles. Lonelydarksky (暗無天日) contact me (聯絡) 11:49, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Checkuser won't yield anything, last sock is Oct 11 and has long gone   Stale. It would be useful if you could point out the patterns (I know Chinese) to allow for easier referencing in future. - Mailer Diablo 13:22, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How do we know that Calvin Marquess was doing this stuff in the past? I am finding it difficult to see a connection between the accounts here. --MuZemike 18:27, 25 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect that Nowhere14 may be a sockpuppet of Calvin Marquess because both of them share similar bizarre editing habits, especially on the use of Chinese characters. However, since Mailer diablo mentioned above that Checkuser won't yield anything, then there's nothing we can do about it. Lonelydarksky (暗無天日) contact me (聯絡) 14:10, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually we can if there is enough evidence, but, I'm not going to find a possible sock with the only thing going for the argument being 'similiar chinese characters'. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 08:50, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo. I am a Japanese Wikipedian. I will again request checkuser here. User:梁棚元 make some redirect in Kanji or Hangeul in English-Wikipedia. And he add to some Vietnamese Articles in Kanji in Japanese-Wikipedia. Or he moved some article without discussion. His actions are same with User:Earth Wikipedian (talk · contribs) and others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashtray (talkcontribs)

Hallo. I am a Japanese Wikipedian. I will request checkuser here once and again. User:ཨཽ (this is Tibetan alphabet "au".) make some redirect in Kanji or a one in Manchu alphabet in English-Wikipedia. And he moved a article without discussion in Japanese-Wikipedia. His actions are same with User:梁棚元 (talk · contribs) and others.--Ashtray (talk) 11:32, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo. I am a Japanese Wikipedian, Ashtray. I will request checkuser here again. User:༄‎ (this is Tibetan alphabet.) make only a redirect in English-Wikipedia. But he moved articles without discussion in Japanese- and Other-Wikipedia[1]. He has same features with User:ཨཽ (talk · contribs) and others. Now Japanese-users are arguing whether he should be blocked or not.--Ashtray (talk) 22:11, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I appreciate you're having difficulties with this user on other wikis. However, I'm not seeing what this really has to do with us here on enwiki. We're not in the business of blocking people on this wiki for their behaviour on other wikis; we judge users on how they behave here. --(ʞɿɐʇ) ɐuɐʞsǝp 00:12, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Hallo, Mr.Deskana. I expected your reply. But my purpose is not blocking for him in en-wiki. It is (1)Sending a warning for en-wiki. I knew that he is acting from Sep. 2012 except en-wiki. But he resumed activity in en-wiki. (2)Requesting offer of information. Although we request CheckUser in Ja-wiki, probably information of his IP-adress will be impossible to get today. Time passed too much.--Ashtray (talk) 01:30, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This editor learned templates too quickly to be a newbie. Like CM and NDC, he is a resident of Vietnam who promotes the use of Chinese characters. Not many Vietnamese are interested in Chinese characters, let alone promote them. This is a highly specialized demographic. He also shows a curious interest this otherwise obscure redirect created by none other than CM. Redirects with diacritics in them is a strikingly odd thing for a newbie to be interested in. H. Humbert (talk) 09:00, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

When I wrote the above, I thought it was suspicious that the subject did not respond to the inquires I put on his talk page. Since that time, we had a lengthy discussion on my talk page. The last sock in the archive is from September 2012, so there is nothing to check anyway. H. Humbert (talk) 10:50, 20 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
