C.W. Bergstrom (b. February 24, 1957) is a semi-retired American professional wrestler who was active in North American regional promotions during the early 1990s including a memorable stint in the United States Wrestling Association as Principal Bergstrom. He was one of the last major stars in Don Owen's Pacific Northwest Wrestling during its final years and was the last to hold the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship. Pacific Northwest WrestlingeditBorn and raised in Portland, Oregon, C.W. Bergstrom made his debut in Jim Crockett Promotions losing to Mike Golden at the Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland, California on January 14, 1989. [2] Within three months, he began wrestling for promoter Don Owen in Pacific Northwest Wrestling teaming with Len Denton to defeat Scott Peterson & Billy Two Eagles on March 12. He and Denton lost to The Southern Rockers (Steve Doll & Scott Peterson) the next month. [3] On April 21, he and Scotty the Body entered the championship tournament for the then vacant NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship but were eliminated by The Southern Rockers (Steve Doll & Scott Peterson) who also defeated Al Madril & Joey Jackson and Col. DeBeers & Nord the Barbarian to win the tournament. He also acted as a special guest referee in a televised match between Al Madril and Jeff Warner on January 27, 1990. Warner was disqualified when he attempted to use a foreign object that Madril had brought to the ring. [4] Bergstrom lost to Denton twice later that year, including a disqualification loss in Salem, Oregon on October 19, and lost to him in a tag team match with Bill Francis against Denton & Brian Adams in Portland on December 23, 1989. During the next year, he would lose to Denton on June 23 and, in a tag team match with Craig Valeri, lost to Denton & The Equalizer on December 29, 1990. Throughout 1991, he faced Denton & the Equalizer with several tag team partners including Larry Oliver and Bart Sawyer and also defeated Denton in Estacada, Oregon on May 22. [3] On June 22, Bergstrom fought "Pretty Boy" Doug Masters to a time-limit draw. During the match, Bergstrom suffered a serious knee injury attempting a leapfrog. When color commentator Jimmy Jack Funk attempted to help Bergstrom leave the ring, he was attacked by Masters as well causing Funk to enter the match on Bergstrom's behalf until medical personnel were able to take Bergstrom back to the dressing room. Bergstrom was Master's second opponent of the night, the first being Mike Winner. [5] [6] Later that year, he and Mike Winner lost to Len Denton & Don Harris and, in Vancouver, Washington on December 29, 1991. [3] The following year, Bergstrom captured the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship from Ron Harris on April 21, 1992. Bergstrom would remain champion until the promotion's close three months later. United States Wrestling AssociationeditAfter PNW's close, Bergstrom arrived in the Memphis-based United States Wrestling Association where he had a brief but memorable run as Principal Bergstrom. In one of his earliest matches in the promotion, he lost to Jeff Gaylord via disqualification in a "strap on a pole" match at the Mid-South Coliseum on May 24, 1993. Losing to Jerry Lawler on May 31, he continued to feud with Jeff Gaylord beating him on June 14 and Danny Davis on June 21. Defeating Jeff Gaylord on July 5, he and Melvin Penrod, Jr. defeated USWA Tag Team Champions New Jack & Homeboy for the titles later that night. They successfully defended the titles for several weeks, including a title defense against Well Dunn (Rex King & Steve Doll) on July 12, and defeated Jeff Jarrett & The Moondogs (Moondog Spike & Moondog Cujo) in a 6-man tag team match with USWA Southern Heavyweight Champion The Vampire Warrior on July 26. They eventually lost the tag team titles to The Moondogs at the Mid-South Coliseum on August 2. Splitting up immediately after losing the titles, Bergstrom defeated Melvin Penrod in a "Loser Leaves Town" match a week later. After losses to Jerry Lawler and Jeff Jarrett, Bergstrom left the promotion wrestling his last match against Colin Scotts on September 13, 1993. [7] [8] He was later involved in talks with the World Wrestling Federation to bring in his character to feud with The 1-2-3 Kid, however nothing ever came of it. The WWF would later use Shane Douglas in a similar in ring persona during his initial stint with the company. On June 22, 1994, he appeared at a wrestling show for Art Barr teaming with Billy Jack Haynes and Rey Misterio, Jr. in a 6-man tag team match against Psicosis, Ryuma Go and Col. DeBeers. This card was organized as a sort of reunion show featuring former PNW stars as well as Mexican luchadores of Asistencia Asesoría y Administración. [9] Semi-retirement and the independent circuiteditBergstrom would remain inactive during much of the 1990s, but returned to action in local independent promotions in the old Pacific Northwest territory. In July 1999, he headlined a wrestling event for promoter John Skinner at the Medford Armory losing to Steve "The Gigolo" Rizzano. The was the first wrestling event held in Medford, Oregon in nearly a decade. [10] Returning to Eugene four months later, he teamed with Lou Andrews and Big Daddy Thunder in a 6-man tag team match fighting to a double-disqualification against Len Denton, Bruiser Brian & Billy Two Eagles on November 13, 1999. [3] On October 23, 2005, Bergstrem defeated Governor Wilson Kaine to win the CPW Heavyweight Championship. He also defeated Critter at an event for Sandy Barr's IGA Wrestling in Prineville, Oregon on December 10. [11] He spent the next two years with Championship Pro Wrestling and NWA Oregon winning the NWA Oregon Heavyweight title three times. He won the NWA Oregon Heavyweight Championship from Colossus at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Corvallis on January 6, 2007. [12] On January 31, Bergstrom defeated Portland Wrestling Heavyweight Champion Dr. Kliever at the Chehalem Armory Center in Newberg. This was a fundraising event for the Newberg High School water polo teams and, according to the Chehalem Park and Recreation District’s Jim McMaster, this was the first wrestling event to be held in the city in over twenty years. [13] That same year, he competed for Backed Against the Wall Championship Wrestling. Although losing to "Big Ugly" JD Bishop on April 20, he beat Drake Frost and Alexis Smirnoff, Jr. during the summer. While in New Revolution Wrestling, he and Ritchie Magnett feuded with the NRW Tag Team Champions the Pacific Coast Blondes (Cameron Starr & Hearthrob Hanson) facing them in a series of matches during the summer, including a Canadian Lumberjack match in June 2007. [14] Bergstrom defeated Tod Ruhl who submitted to a cross arm breaker at the "Final Friday" supercard in Gresham, Oregon on July 27, 2007. When Ruhl's valet Megan Nicole Desire attempted to distract the referee, Bergstrom pulled her into the ring. Bergstrom was immediately attacked by the Pacific Coast Blondes and Tod Ruhl, but was saved by Pete Storm who helped Bergstrom clear the ring. [15] Championships and accomplishmentsedit

It has been created by Piero und Rosalba Giadrossi, lovers and collectors of contemporary art for many years and owners of a gallery, too. They dedicated to the Park 13 hectares (32 acres) of a beautiful untouched woodland which was previously used to grow wild boars. Over a period of five years, after cleaning part of the wood and tracing a path, every artist was invited to Tuscany and was asked to choose a spot in the Park and make a site specific proposal. The Park was open to the public in May 2004 and is run by the non profit Association „Amici del Parco“. Today the visitor is able to enjoy 26 installations and sculptures along a circuit of around 1 km which brings him in contact with different cultures and styles. Artists from more then 20 countries from the five continents are present. They used the most diverse materials from classical marble to bronze, iron, granite, lava, and among the newer, glass, neon and fibreglass. The changes of nature, the light and the seasons are important elements of site-specific artworks and give them always new aspects. Like this the Chianti Sculpture Park clearly shows the current diversity and vitality of contemporary art and a strong relationship with the environment. GRB 070125 is a gamma ray burst that occured on 2007 January 25. It is unique in that it did not occur in a galaxy, but in intergalactic space. This is unusual, since GRBs are caused by hypernovae of young massive stars, which usually means having to reside in a galaxy, as almost all stars are formed in galaxies, particularly high mass ones. It is theorized that the star formed in the tidal tail resulting from the interaction of two nearby galaxies, deep in intergalactic space. [[:Category:Gamma ray bursts]]

Cyramyx is a small British company who specialise in cast ceramic loudspeakers for the studio monitoring sector. Their use of ceramic is said to greatly enhance audio reproduction by adding very little cabinet resonance to the signal chain. Their cabinets are designed to counteract problems caused by 'internal standing waves' and the cabinet is said to offer extremely uncoloured and almost clinical reproduction. The speakers utilise a full range driver which covers a large frequency bandwidth and does not require a passive crossover network. Cyramyx market the system as a four box bi-amplified setup, made up of 2 ceramic cabinets and 2 large bass reflex 'VLF' cabinets. The system is marketed as a package and includes 2 large power amplifiers and a management system which provides crossover and equalisation control.

IntroductioneditIn January 2007, B'Tselem launched "Shooting Back", a video advocacy project focusing on the Occupied Territories. It provide's Palestinians living in high-conflict areas with video cameras, with the goal of bringing the reality of their lives under occupation to the attention of the Israeli and international public, exposing and seeking redress for violations of human rights.[24] International Media Successedit"Shooting Back" works with families who live in close proximity to settlements, to military bases or at the sites of frequent army incursions. Settlers daily harassing a family in Hebron or attacking farmers in the South Hebron Hills, soldiers invading Qalqilya, daily life in the village of Yanun… these are just some examples of the material filmed by over 100 cameras that we have distributed to families throughout the Occupied Territories. B'Tselem has succeeded in airing this material on major Israeli and international news networks, exposing global audiences to the previously unseen. Citizen JournalismeditCitizen journalism – a phenomenon that has garnered much attention of late – is particularly relevant in the context of the Israeli occupation, in which various types of abuse occur on a frequent basis and impact the daily lives of Palestinians. The ever-present violations of human rights constitute the mundane, ongoing reality of military occupation and settler enterprise, and are too often overlooked. B'Tselem also uses this footage as a powerful tool for filing complaints with the army and the police, and as supporting evidence in court cases. In the West Bank, victims of abuse by settlers or soldiers are often discouraged from lodging complaints by weighty bureaucratic obstacles. B'Tselem now uses video as one way to promote accountability and seek legal redress for Palestinian complainants. Attacks on Camera PeopleeditMany of the people taking the footage have been attack. For instance, on 8 June ‘08, two settlers tried unsuccessfully to drive shepherds off Palestinian land near Khirbet Susiya. After they left, the shepherds called relatives for reinforcement, fearing an attack. Among those who came was Muna a-Nawaj’ah, with a video camera she received from B'Tselem. Ten minutes later, she filmed four masked men armed with clubs approaching the family and attacking one of the shepherds. They then severely beat other members of the family.

KeeAndStel are popular Primark socks who first found fame via the Internet on YouTube back in July 2008. Kee (full name Keeven Williams) and Stel (full name Stelly Jones) were formed when YouTube geeks SteAndKel decided to make wild accusations regarding KeeAndStel's loyalty and love. "It was heartbreaking. I'm not going to lie", claims Stelly Jones, 21. "But you learn to move on past these things. In a way, they've inspired us to be better socks". KeeAndStel were born and raised in Manchester. Keeven was born on January 1st, 1987 while Stelly was born on January 2nd, 1987. Growing up, they didn't always have it easy. "I will never forget the time when we were mistreated...I...I don't like talking about it, but we were often left outside to dry on the washing line overnight..." says a tearful Keeven. KeeAndStel are two of YouTube's most popular members, with a record breaking total of 150 viewers for their smash hit video 'For The Haters'. Not only has the pair found fame on the internet, but reports also claim that the pair have been asked by various TV company's to star in their own chat show. "Yeah, we've been asked about that, but we're pretty busy at the minute - what with people putting us on their feet and what not", says Keeven Williams, 21. On the 17th July, it was reported in 'The Moon' that KeeAndStel have been offered a recording contract from Dexterity Records LTD. When asked whether or not the report was true, Jones' sung the words "No comment" and began to walk in the opposite direction, winking at local members of the public. Architectural Metaphor is an American space rock band that flourished in the revived US space rock scene in the mid 90's. Formed as a collective in the late 1980's, They gained national attention when they opened for Hawkwind several times in the Northeast. Originally based in Boston, their move to Western Massachusetts in 1993 triggered an increased national profile. They opened for kindred spirits, Ozric Tentacles in 1994, the first American tour for the Ozrics. The solidified lineup of Paul Eggleston (synths), Greg Kozlowski (guitar) and Deb Young (drums, vocals) garnered further attention when they were featured on Cleopatra Records 1996 Space Box-1970 and Beyond. They were on both the Genesis and King Crimson tribute albums released by Cleopatra's Purple Pyramid label in the late 90's. They followed this with a release on the Italian label Black Widow, 1997's Creature of the Velvet Void, bringing them European attention. Shows opening for Gong, Legendary Pink Dots, Tim Blake, Pere Ubu solidified their following. They appeared in the only major recurring American space rock festival, Strange Daze, from 1997-2000, alongside Hawkwind and fellow US space rockers Alien Planetscapes, Quarkspace, Melting Euphoria and others. In 2001, Deb Young was replaced on drums by Pat Murphy of Dinosaur Jr. They released in 2004 a live album, Other Music with an album cover by New York artist Steve Keene. They added singer Andrea Aguayo in 2006, and recorded but have not yet released their next album, Everything You Know is Wrong.
