Orphaned non-free media (Image:Victorian Doll Chucky Believe.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Victorian Doll Chucky Believe.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:12, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Meetup

Yes, a priori I'm interested. But when? Where? Then I'll really be able to answer. Pro bug catcher (talkcontribs). 11:32, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello, thank you for the invitation, but I now live in the US, so it wouldn't be practical. --Kyoko 15:10, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the offer, but I must say I'm quite busy these days, and I'm leaving Montréal in a few weeks, back to France. -- Fétiche (talk) 01:47, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

The WPVG Newsletter (June 2008)

Speedy deletion of User:Cream/See

A tag has been placed on User:Cream/See, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:User:Cream/See|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Creamy!Talk 12:47, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Meetup

Not really. Thenoflyzone(talk) 17:36, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Possibly - but a lot depends on when it is. I live 2.5 hours away by car (with expensive gasoline) so it's hard to promise anything - I'd have to talk my wife into coming to shop or something. If you get a date and time organised, please let me know, but I really can't guarantee it. If you have some specific topic to discuss, that would help. I coordinate the 1.0 project, so I can share on that topic; also, I can talk about the serious validation work we at WP:Chem have been doing on chemicals pages - but if I can't be sure of coming, that can't be the agenda! Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Soxred93 3

Hi there - I wonder if you would be so kind as to turn off the flashing on your !vote. Since it is your vote, I do not want to make any changes to it (and to be honest, I probably would screw up the code if I did), but it's something that's quite annoying to many people. Thanks for considering this. Risker (talk) 04:42, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Hello

Please don't retire over an RfA. Beam 01:25, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

You don't need to leave Wikipedia.

Dear Cream: I just wanted to write you, and let you know that even though I felt it necessary to oppose your request for adminship because your past issues are too recent, I do think the fact that you've become a productive and constructive member of wikipedia is quite respectable. It would be a shame for you to leave over a failed RfA. Lots of people have RfA's that don't pass, for many reasons. In time, you may even find the community ready for you as an admin (I can't promise that, but I could see it happening), but it's just too soon to give you the tools. It's still worth sticking with it. ⇔ ÆS dt @ 01:29, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Bring back Cream

Hey, I didn't know about your RfA (I don't even know you!), but I can say that I hope you remain on Wikipedia and continue to provide excellent contributions. We need good people like you here! Ecoleetage (talk) 03:33, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Smile

Hey man dont be like that

Hey listen, you have a iminate future as a admin. You will be one some day. On the edit front, your awesome, nearly perfect. But the only reason anybody opposed your RFA is because of the three blocks. You are awesome, and everyone told you too walk away from the RFA and keep going. To work harder and then maybe 5 month later come back and rule the RFA board and become a admin. Please come back. I havent been around you too much but please come back. Drop me a line anytime. Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Gyrotron.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sdrtirs (talk) 11:33, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
