Whitehatnetizen
Our website has a lot of free and useful information that people find helpful. We are not a spam site. If you could take a look at our site you would see this. There are plenty of other links on the didgeridoo wikipedia page that should be considered spam listings if you consider us to be a spam lising. We are linking to a page that is full of free info on how to play didgeridoo. We are not selling anything on this page.
Whitehatnetizen,
The link I provided to my website contains a free document on how to create bump keys, as well as a template for doing so.
I feel that the wiki members benefit from any information available. I did not seed this page with advertisements,
the page is set up using the standard template for my website which includes my menu bar at the top, and my add banner
at the bottom. Please explain to me how this is spamming if I am providing a free original document to the community,
not available anywhere else on the web due to copyright, and am not advertising on the wiki page.
I will not repost my external link, until this has been discussed, as I personally do not like spam on wiki.
Please respond when you have time.
Thank you,
Jeremy

Request For Rollback
editNormally I'd be concerned about your low number of edits but their quality leans me to trust you'll know how to use the tool. Please see WP:RBK for instructions or feel free to ask me. Remember to only use the tool to revert clear and obvious vandlaism, or to revert yourself when an expanded edit summary would not be of use. Pedro : Chat 13:38, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Well Done
edit I am delighted that your request for Rollbacking rights on Wikipedia was accepted! My congratulations. The reason given was (If Given) "Done Normally I'd be concerned about your low number of edits but their quality leans me to trust you'll know how to use the tool." Best Regards From,
Misleading edit comments
editYou wrote "m (reverting to a stable version)" as an edit comment for an edit that was not minor (what the m is supposed to mean) and which was not returning to a "stable version" but blind reverting to a version you apparently prefer but for which you gave no rationale. This is not how edit comments are supposed to work. "Stable version" typically means undoing vandalism or other policies violations, which I can assure you were not present. I would hope you would not make such misleading comments in the future and think about what you are doing before reverting for no reason. DreamGuy (talk) 13:35, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Guy Fawkes Night
editI agree with your spelling correction to Guy Fawkes Night, but the edit summary seemed to suggest you would consider changing the national variety of English on a section-by-section basis. I believe the variety of English should be consistent throughout an article, even if one section relates to a different country from the main topic of the article. Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
editHello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:33, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
