Actually the November 1983 Soaring Magazine directory indicates that the issue that you want to find is August 1975, page 14, which has a run-down on the Vector 1. I have just about all of Soaring from 1977-90, but nothing from 1975. - Ahunt (talk) 12:09, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Will check that one. If you're an SSA member you have access to every soaring magazine from 1937 to about a year ago. They come in really handy for researching these kind of articles.Tonycondon (talk) 17:07, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Hey thanks for those additions to the article, that really helps tell the story. I can't imagine trying to foot-launch a 150 lb glider, if you tripped you kill yourself! I am going to see if I can justify a fair-use image for it. - Ahunt (talk) 20:45, 4 April 2011 (UTC)

There are some great pictures of it in Soaring but i don't know if those are able to be justified as fair use. I *might* have some pictures of the Vector 1 in my pile of Cherokee II stuff but will have to dig for it.Tonycondon (talk) 03:39, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

I did add the photo used in Soaring, November 1983, of the aircraft as "fair use" and asked an admin to review my fair-use reasoning to make sure it looks okay. I have actually never used fair use images before, all my images are free ones! - Ahunt (talk) 12:06, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

I imagine it is. Just so you know my own plan is to keep going on creating articles for these less-well-known sailplanes for the next while. I am into the Schreder series next! You are more than welcome to add add whatever you can find to them as I start them. When each one is done I post a notice at Wikipedia:New articles (Aircraft), User:Ahunt and also on my own website, so if you check any of those pages you can see when I have a new one up. As you will see on that latter page my plan for 2011 is to write an article a day, although not all are for Wikipedia, most are. - Ahunt (talk) 21:12, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
