American Ninja Warrior edit warring

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on American Ninja Warrior. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ping me with {{u|Jim1138}} and sign "~~~~" or message me on my talk page. 03:14, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dear Teamdopefreshnationforlife, Stop Changing the American Ninja Warrior Obstacles.

edit

Please stop adding fake stuff to the American Ninja Warrior page. Now you might be thinking that I have added fake stuff to the page, but when I do add stuff I give proof when I do add obstacles to the page. But why do you keep changing the obstacles? If you are going to change them, please give proof so that I and the public know it actually exists. I'm talking to you now because I got a warning message saying that we seem to be in a edit war. I really don't wanna go through another edit war, I've already had to put up with enough of them. So please stop adding fake obstacles to the page. I'll handle everything when the proof arrives. Oh and NBC won't be taping the Season 7 finals till late June. (Proof: http://on-camera-audiences.com/shows/American_Ninja_Warrior) (See I just gave proof.) So please leave the page alone and like I said, I'll handle everything with proof. I'm sorry I had to interrupt you, But I don't wanna put up with this again.

America's Got Talent (season 10)

edit

Hi, I notice we're in a bit of an "edit war," and i think it would be best for us to come up with a consensus.

Because we did not include extensive information about auditions in past seasons (see Season 9, or 8, or 7), there is no reason to have these audition tables. That information is better suited for a website like America's Got Talent Wiki (http://agt.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_1001). We should wait until the Semifinals, or at least Vegas at the earliest for all this information.

We should also continue talking about this on the article's talk page so we can get more opinions, but in the meantime, we should not include these tables.

Your recent editing history at America's Got Talent (season 10) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Acroterion (talk) 00:32, 3 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

American Ninja Warrior

edit

For the last time, your list of obstacles is not necessary, and not wanted for this encyclopedia article, per WP:FANCRUFT, WP:LISTCRUFT, WP:INDISCRIMINATE and WP:NOTSTATS. Please refrain from adding it again. Also, this is a warning about WP:3RR- I see you've been blocked previously for edit warring, if you readd this, then it's a violation of WP:3RR and you will be reported to WP:AN3.
