Thanks for uploading Image:Plexi.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 19:47, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Ugandan coffee beans.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Ricky81682 (talk) 05:18, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with Image:Seattle wto protest.jpg

edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Seattle wto protest.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:18, 17 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 05:18, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Hi Sooner016!
We thank you for uploading Image:People living on less than $1 per day.jpg, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Proposed deletion of World stratification

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article World stratification, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? LegoTech·(t)·(c) 04:57, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm too nice

edit

Go here. It's not ready to be in mainspace yet. It certainly is well-written for what it is, but it isn't an encyclopedia article yet.

(Oh, and "I'm too nice" is because I would have been justified in deleting it.) DS (talk) 05:22, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

You're in violation of 3RR on the Poverty article.radek (talk) 04:38, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

3RR: [1]. As to the changes, I've explained my reasoning on the talk page of the article and in the edit summaries. The talk page is there exactly to discuss this sort of stuff. You didn't respond in any way. I'll resummarize my reasons for trimming the article, removing POV from it and why WTS is given UNDUE WEIGHT [2].radek (talk) 21:33, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello, you need to be aware of WP:REVERT and WP:3RR. Ideally, you would alos be aware of WP:1RR and perhaps WP:RS. Please ask here if you have any questions William M. Connolley (talk) 22:06, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

You should also be our of WP:CIVIL and WP:AGF. Accusing others of "abusing Wikipedia" and such is not recommended. Since you don't seem to have received a welcome message with a link to our policies, I'll put one on the top of your page soon.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:42, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
