This is the talk page for the user Purplewowies.
Messages posted to this page are dealt with in various ways:
- When there are two or more WikiProject Wikify messages, all but the most recent may be moved to the Wikify Messages Archive. Purplewowies manually archives these when she notices they are taking over her talk page.
- Other old/read messages may be moved to another archive or removed entirely.
- Some old messages stay on the page, either because Purplewowies thinks they are important, or because she does not want to remove them for some other reason.
- Barnstars are moved to Purplewowies's userpage.
Thank you,

Your request for rollback
editHi Purplewowies. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 01:32, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

About Fix-It Felix Jr.
editFix-It Felix Jr., was originally intended to be only from the movie, but in reality, that is left behind, it actually exists, but it started as the Wreck-It Ralph promotion. Just people like you, deny the presence of the game in real life and not admit a related article, because you haven't seen or played it, I have played. It deserves to be, like the other games from the other movies.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8sssti_mCY&t=75s
I defend this article, because I have proof of it, and in the words of Jules Verne: "Everything that man imagines becomes a reality" and video games aren't the exception. Fix-It Felix Jr. must be in the Post-fictional category, Bbcause it has been seen hundreds of times by many people who hadn't imagined that this game really existed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ofihombre (talk • contribs) 13:07, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

Confirm Involvement in WikiProject Disney
editHello Purplewowies! I'm a new member of the Disney WikiProject. I'm trying to confirm who is still interested in the WikiProject in hopes to build a team of that can revamp the project. Please let me know if you would like to stay on the list of active members, or if I can go ahead and move to you the list of inactive members. You can do so by replying to this message and including the {{reply to|GeekInParadise}}
tag. Happy editing! GeekInParadise (talk) 18:00, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- GeekInParadise: My editing feels more "tangent"-like now (I still edit Disney articles but I feel like I'm on the fringes a bit due to real life taking the wheel lately). On the one hand, I still feel like I should be considered active (and I certainly like the idea of staying on that list), but on the other I don't feel like I'd contribute directly to the project or reviving it on a high enough level to be considered active in terms of that purpose. So... do whatever you think is right based on what I've said in this reply? XD - Purplewowies (talk) 20:42, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- I just purged 100+ people and just trying to get rid of people who have zero interest. Unless you want to move yourself, i'll keep you listed. GeekInParadise (talk) 21:25, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

editHi,
I added both because they significantly collapse the vertical space used by the various headers. Obviously they do more when there are multiple items but given they still effect a reduction even with one entry, I figure it's worth it given that page has other header elements also (Talk header, BLP notice, etc.). If pages just have one WikiProject listed and not much else, I don't bother. Joeyconnick (talk) 22:57, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
Discussion at List of Odd Squad episodes
editHey, so, I tried to ping you, but I don't think it worked. Do you think you could come over to the talk page and give your thoughts on the discussion? Thanks. Ghinga7 (talk) 04:43, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
Nevermind, it was resolved. Carry on with whatever you're doing. Ghinga7 (talk) 18:33, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Ghinga7: For the record, just so you know, I got the ping fine but wasn't sure what I could add at the time (plus real life has been stretching me thin lately). Glad it was resolved, though! - Purplewowies (talk) 21:54, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 22
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dylan Sprouse, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vanity Fair (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editThank you
editThank you for your revert on the Piper Reese article. I myself was wondering if this was an appropriate citation. However, now I'm led to ask, is TheMovieProducer.com considered a reliable source? After several minutes of researching, I'm not even sure that Reese's work with Delta Airlines received enough third-party mention as to warrant its encyclopedic value. Maybe that whole "resume building experience" should be removed from Wikipedia? - I am dis big (talk) 20:09, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- @I am dis big: At a glance, I'm not sure TheMovieProducer is reliable. It (the Delta Airlines thing) might be worth removal? (I'd elaborate but I've been on and off brain foggy today.) - Purplewowies (talk) 23:34, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- I think I'm going to delete that paragraph as "cruft" -- there are no other sourcing efforts on Wikipedia utilizing TheMovieProducer<dot>com. - I am dis big (talk) 13:25, 15 April 2022 (UTC)

Thanks
editThank you for your catch over at Odd Squad for my unintentional Header removal. The visual editing feature was malfunctioning last night and before I switched over to source editor, the deletion had already been done and I didn’t catch it so I appreciate that on your part! Thanks again. Here’s a freshly baked cookie!
