Egypt
editNot warring, just the television announcement went live, and I was merely correcting the phrase that was used. FACT. Big difference between INTEND and WILL.
Please stop edit-warring at Egypt - everyone is aware of the situation but in Wikipedia we need to reference material properly and spend time ensuring that the text is to an encyclopedic standard. Note that the main article is already running on the political situation and Egypt is not the right place to do quick updates. Thanks. Jamesinderbyshire (talk) 23:29, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. 206.188.60.1 (talk) 21:29, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
This is to let you know that there is a discussion going on here at WP:ANI which concerns you. Fainites barleyscribs 21:11, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
Noted comments there, and thank you for bringing it to to my attention. My section on the effect of price of oil demand, although none conventional to base it on feedback effects (of which price is but one feedback mechanism) is totally valid, and been accessed by such international bodies as the International Monetary Fund (IMF). I therefore do not give it to 'mob rule' group think that there is a simple one to one relationship between price and demand at least at a regional level, however politically appealing it maybe in some political quarters. Note: I am obviously willing to accept editing, criticism, and any additions to my brief paragraph on the subject by other people, but totally deleting it or vandalism by a none registered user using a dynamic ip address ( 206.188.**.** ) coming from Washington state area I do not accept.
If 'the mob' succeed via group think in either banning my name or even ip address it will make no difference - the paragraph will remain on there one way or another. I do not give it to the group think of the mob lightly.
- This isnt a battleground. Its an encyclopaedia - supposedly based on reliable, largely secondary sources. Please try and discuss the issue with other editors - and don't call them a "mob".Fainites barleyscribs 21:34, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- I would appreciate your input regarding this issue on the Peak oil talk page (Talk:Peak oil#Platinumshore and related section Talk:Peak oil#Dubious). Thank you. 206.188.32.1 (talk) 21:24, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Agreed, no battle ground but why does someone keep reverting the article to a version with no citations, and then claims citations are necessary. reverting back again to one with the correct citations.
- The reasons for the CN tags and the subsequent deletion of the section were laid out many times in my edit summaries, and there are also two discussion sections for the issue on the article's talk page (Talk:Peak oil#Platinumshore and Talk:Peak oil#Dubious). It is important that you become an active member in the discussion. Also, please review Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources#Primary, secondary, and tertiary sources, as many of the sources you have used do not meet the criteria summerized there. Wikipedia:Citation needed is also a page which may help you further understand my position. 206.188.43.65 (talk) 02:01, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
