Oh my
Happy birthday! I hadn't a clue, but your enormous band of friends and fans alerted me with the enormously long watchlist entry ;)
Glad to see Spring was on top of things and designated today Phaedriel's day - and love that he used the picture I found a while back. One of my favourites, and I think it perfectly exemplifies how much love and care and attention you are so willing to lavish on your friends and loved ones.
May you have a wonderful day, and a wonderful year until the next birthday should roll around and I can say it all again! Love tons :) -- Editor at Large • talk 19:34, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Devolution on Talk:Battle of Washita River
Hey Phaedriel, I just got back into the world of the living after being really badly sick... now am going to proceed with talking with your friend you mentioned. But in the meantime, could you take a look back at the talk page? It seems like personal attack city there, now with Felix c (talk · contribs) joining in by posting a bunch of material he got from looking up Custerwest outside Wikipedia. Gee, I've known that stuff for several weeks myself, but isn't posting it on a talk page tantamount to personal attack? CW's response not that much better. It doesn't seem that there's not even an attempt to use the talk page for the reason's an article talk page is supposed to be used, anymore -- i.e., about the article. I've also posted Alison (talk · contribs) about this. Kiitos. --Yksin 21:42, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
Happy Birthday!
And through this crazy life, and through these crazy times, Its you! Its you, you make me sing. You're every line, you're every word, you're everything! Thank you so much for your guiding hand in friendship, as well as helping me out when the occasional problem user. I am truly blessed to have a friend like you. Happy Birthday Sharon! Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday Phaedriel! Sorry, I was out all day and couldn't congratulate you on July 29th (UTC). But it's still that day in the US at this time (where I believe you currently are) so I think it's still okay to give you these blooming gifts now. :-) I hope that you are having a happy, perfect day, in the company of those you love. Keep smiling and making us smile with your rare, pure, kind and gentle soul. Happy birthday! Festive regards from your friend, Húsönd 01:13, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi...
I stumbled upon your REALLY, REALLY awesome userpage and I heard you designed them :). Can I make a request for a page of black and gray? Thanks, or make it how you want it! If you do accept my request, Thanks! That'd be AWESOME :) --KitKatKelly93 01:18, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, you're not taking up requests :(. That's okay, I'll try to catch you when you might be able to do it :). Bye! --KitKatKelly93 01:32, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday!
I felt bad for just asking for a userpage because today is a special day for you :(. Will you eat the apology cake, away of asking for forgiveness of my rudeness and a birthday present? Thanks, --KitKatKelly93 03:34, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

I'm on right now (¼ to nine Pacific time and ¼ to 11 Central time); I got on the moment I read your message but I cannot think of any human way to possibly thank you for your support. I would love to talk to you in real time but sadly I will probably be off by the time you get on. :( You've broken down all my barriers now, and I unabashedly tell you—in public—I love you so very much. — $PЯINGεrαgђ 03:46, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Belated wishes
Dear Sharon, glad your Birthday was good. My apologies for not having wished you earlier, but I was out-of-station over the weekend. Actually, that makes me wonder - is there anyway to leave a message on a user's talk page after a timed interval? So that guys like me could wish people like you even when we're not in town. :) Anyways, a belated happy birthday to you! aJCfreak yAk 07:33, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Ohh...you didnt have to!
Thank you so much for saving me a piece of chocolate cake, and commenting on my new userpage. I hope your birthday proved to be an absolutely fantastic day for you, and that 29 July will come for you many times again. Thanks again! -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 08:40, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Mmmmm cake :D
Dear Phaedriel, thank you for the yummy cake! And no worries about the beer, I'm a teetotaler! And yes, as it turns out, the basics of my user page come from you. I ran into Chris the other day, and asked him if I could use his page as a template, because I just loved the layout. He told me his was from you, and I should ask you to make me one of my own, but I felt that it would be very rude for a perfect stranger to ask for such a huge favor, and indeed, your page mentioned how busy you were, so I just did not feel it right that I intrude, when we've never met.
So... I spent 9+ hours trying to change it, and make it more "me". (Even though if it were up to me, I doubt it would look like that, I'm in no way that "organized" in RL! lol) I do not at ALL understand the script Wiki uses (heck I barely understand the basics of HTML, and I started making web pages over 10 years ago) so for me, it was a very painful process. Replace something, see if it changes anything, replace another thing, rinse, repeat. Ugh. But, with my Irish stubborn streak, and what I think was just pure dumb luck, I did get something semi-presentable. I wasn't able to do what I want, and it looks too much like Chris' page, (not "Ariel-y" at all) but compared to how it looked before... ( ack ! I made that 2 years ago, and could never understand how to change it to look better, lol.)
At the time, I did not stop and think that altering Chris' page might be considered "taking" something from you, and I sincerely apologize for not taking the time to consider that. I don't think I understood when he said his page was compliments of you. As it turns out, you've designed many people's pages! (And awesome ones, I might add.) If you wish me to revert it, I would completely understand, and maybe just leave it semi-blank for now, I doubt I'll ever understand the intricacies of this CSS (or java or whatever language it is) stuff, and especially tables, to be able to do what I really would want. Talk about confusing for a Liberal Arts type person! (Psychology major lol, definitely not tech-minded).
But, that didn't stop me from seeing that it was your birthday this week, and I did think it would be alright for a stranger to wish you a happy birthday, which is why I did. And I'm glad to hear you had a wonderful day! Respectfully, Ariel♥Gold 10:54, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Birthday present
So, apparently it's your birthday tomorrow? Happy birthday! As your present, tonight tomorrow (Sunday) I'll work on more transfers of IPNA article comments from the old archive :). If you'd like? Have a great day, and take care, --Miskwito 22:26, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
Ura for the cake! (Here's hoping I got that right...). Just a note about my migrating of the comments: so far I haven't added the comments and such to this page, because I've discovered the bot-updated lists here, which I wasn't aware of before. Should I still be adding the stuff to the article classification list, or is it fine to just let the bots do that? The only difference I can see is that the bot-updated lists don't subcategorize articles into categories like "Nations, tribes and groups" or the like. Thanks, and take care, --Miskwito 21:14, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

A (late?) happy birthday wish
Hey! First off, I think I'm going to have to accept that I'm never getting round to that email I promised :\ okay, so a huge happy birthday from me (hope I'm not too late!) and hope you have/had a great day! If there's any left, fire some cake my way ;-) see you around!
Best wishes,

Elonka RFA
You might want to tag 35. Oppose the same way you tagged 36. Oppose. Let me know if you want help auditing the rest of the comments to help detect rigging. If we audit, we should check both Support and Oppose. Jehochman Talk 13:04, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Hi! :) I don't think there's need to actually add more to the comment you point out, as its author himself has been very open about his absence and the circumstances that brought him back to comment at that process. I'm unfortunately a little short of time to do an exhaustive check of every !vote right now, as I'm heading for work in a matter of minutes; please feel free to doublecheck any comments you believe necessary. I personally don't think that Elonka's RfA is highly irregular in either sense, nor supports nor opposes, considering the clearly contentious nature of the debate (and bearing in mind the events at similarly heated RfAs). I simply tagged an evidently disruptive addition, and it wouldn't have mattered to me whether it was a support or, as it was, an oppose. Still, it's best to keep a watchful eye to ensure the transparency of the process, so you're welcome to review other comments, and I'll try my best to stay vigilant. Have a beautiful day! :) Phaedriel - 13:17, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Expanding the userpage
Surely I can expand my userpage with information that you could work your magic on. Let me see what I can do. Maybe check back tomorrow and it will be filled with information? Thanks Phaedriel, *silver* 14:33, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Don't worry about the alcoholics: I'm underage. Of course, that is to say I can drink, just not legally. ;-) Thanks for the cake! —« ANIMUM » 14:58, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
You're welcome
That's some good cake, thanks! I'm glad your day was good, and glad you had a well deserved beer! Nice to have you back though, even just with you having a days absense, I can tell there's something missing! Hell, how many birthday greetings did you get on Wikipedia alone? haha. Again, thanks, and all the best! Jackrm 15:31, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
The waiting list...
Hi, I've noticed that you design user pages for other Wikipedians. I've also noticed that you are not taking requests right now (and for that I apologize), but I'd like to get on the "waiting list" before somebody else gets ahead of me. However, I will not dabble into requests and color schemes, as I am already annoying.
Whenever you can get back to me is fine (I have patience),
Thanks, James Luftan contribs 17:23, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Impressive effort
Just wanted to point out that I am very impressed by your efforts at researching Elonka's edits. Quite above and beyond the call of duty. Even if you were right, that you may have "missed a few", it is still extraordinary. Keep up the great work! Baccyak4H (Yak!) 18:29, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the offer
Sharon, you said "If I can help you in any possible way..." Can you draft contracts, LLC operating agreements and field some client calls for me? If not, how about picking my daughter up from camp in Wisconsin, trimming the hedges or spending 50 hours with my 15 year old son behind the wheel so he can get his drivers license? If you can't, that's OK, but I am afraid, then, that you won't be able to help me with my problems. You are very kind but I think I am going to have to deal with these things on my own. : ) And thanks for saving me a piece of cake! -- DS1953 talk 19:56, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Re: Thank you :)
Well, since I'm a teetotaller, the lack of beer left is no problem, I just wanted the cake :). Thanks for it. But yeah, I'm just stressed mentally, it'll hopefully just go away on its own and I won't have to worry about it. Might just be that I'm trying to participate everywhere on here. (I'm learning that Wikipedia's far less stressful if you concentrate on solely the article writing, so I might just do that for a while) But yeah, don't worry about me, I'm sure there are others that need your support more right now. And you're welcome for the birthday wishes. Wizardman 02:21, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
Userfy me somethin'?
I'm starting a fresh round of cleanup on the WISP article, about to try and bolster its sources et al. Ars Technica and local news sources around Kentucky frequently discuss an apparently notable project called ConnectKentucky that, if fleshed out, would be great to summarize in the WISP article. I never did see it before it was deleted through CsD, but I wonder if there was any salvageable content in it prior to its deletion. Is there any chance I could get you to userfy my some of it at User:Mrzaius/sandbox/ConnectKentucky before I start to reinvent the wheel/rewrite it from scratch? I'll probably end up doing just that, but it'd be nice to have some idea what went before. MrZaiustalk 02:23, 31 July 2007 (UTC) PS: I've been around a while, and have zero financial interest in the project. May not be a GA right off the bat, but I guarantee I won't post jack till it meets WP:ORG and is reasonably well written.

My RfA
Hi, Phaedriel, and thanks for your participation in my RfA. I've withdrawn it, and will be writing up an "analysis" of it, which will soon be available at User:Giggy/RfA/Giggy when it's done. Please come around when you get the chance, and give me feedback on how I can improve. Lots of love, Giggy UCP 04:06, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

To clarify
I'm not sure what you're saying with this edit but I'm not relating PKtm with a comment at oppose #36. I didn't even see oppose #36. I'm equating PKtm's behavior with that of a troll whose sole purpose on Wikipedia is to attempt to remind the world what an ass he thinks a few people are (including myself). One or two comments here and there is fine but he's done nothing but for the last eight months. Troll, troll, troll... —Wknight94 (talk) 11:08, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
