Spoilers
editHello Pfk102. I've reverted your edit to Chicago P.D. (TV series). Wikipedia treats spoilers just like any other content, and does not remove them just because they're spoilers. Please take a look at WP:Spoiler for more on that. Howicus (Did I mess up?) 17:16, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
I DONT CARE, IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE ON THAT PAGE, IT DOESNT EVEN NEED TWO PLACES FOR THE CAST TO BE LISTED

Pfk, first of all, it is rarely a good idea to simply revert someone without even giving an edit summary. Second, the "information" you restored is neither well-sourced nor relevant for an encyclopedic article. Please see such policies as WP:RS. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 20:04, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- First of all, the school is haunted, and they had a front page headline, of the ghost hunt they did in Sherman hall as well as simpkins, and I have had professors tell me about ghost they experienced in Simpkins.
- Agree with all of what @Drmies: said above. Also, given that you've previously been blocked for edit warring, don't do it again- go to Talk:Western Illinois University if you want to discuss, but don't just revert. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:08, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Who made you boss of this page? Western has a history of ghost haunts. So please don't remove you imbecile.
- No-one owns the page, not even you, despite the fact you claim to work for the University, see WP:OWN.
- Your sources are not reliable sources and your text is promotional against WP:NPOV.
- Repeatedly readding content that 3 editors have told you isn't good enough is edit-warrring, which you were previously blocked for.
- Calling me an imbecile is a personal attack. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:16, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
My sources are valid, the western courier is a WIU PROGRAM
- Then it's not an independent source, now is it, and thus even less, not more, likely to qualify as the type of reliable source needed. AddWittyNameHere (talk) 20:19, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Pfk102. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Western Illinois University, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. If—as you proclaim per your edit summary here—you work for the University, you have a serious conflict of interest. AddWittyNameHere (talk) 20:15, 2 June 2015 (UTC)

editYou may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Western Illinois University. John from Idegon (talk) 20:21, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
This is bullshit! This is a public page, WIU has a rich history of Ghost, they wouldn't offer tours and have it publicized on the WIU homepage if they didn't want this to be known.
- Firstly, sign your posts. Second, the page on Wikipedia belongs to Wikipedia. It matters not what the university may want on it. I doubt you are acting in any official way. Universities do not usually employ people who cannot understand simple concepts like ownership and decorum. John from Idegon (talk) 20:27, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Ill do what I please, If you have an issue with this please contact me privately through email at [email protected], to resolve this matter. We here at WIU, don't have time for your undoings, this page can be monitored by WIU staff. PFK102
- WIU does not decide what comes on the page about WIU. Because that's what it is—an article about WIU, not "WIU's page" in the meaning of "their possession". Whether something is or is not added is not decided on by:
- constantly re-adding it to the page.
- claiming close connections to the subject
- calling people names
Instead, it is decided based on:
- verifiability
- notability
- relevance
- neutral point of view
(Well, there's a fair bit more that plays a role, but let's keep it somewhat simple for now) Also, please sign your posts on talkpages by typing ~~~~ after them. AddWittyNameHere (talk) 20:31, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- Also, if you try to use other people to add your spam to the page, then they'll just get blocked to as WP:BLOCKEVASION. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:39, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Disruptive editing at Western Illinois University
edit{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. You are not here to contribute to building an encyclopedia. The full report of this case is at the 3RR noticeboard (permanent link). EdJohnston (talk) 20:31, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- Editor Keane, given your behavior this block was inevitable, and I have good hope that others at WIU will be more...thoughtful in their edits. You could of course start a new account and continue in the same vein, in which case the article will be protected, making it even more difficult to edit. Nobody wants that. If you are interested in learning how to improve the article within our guidelines, let me or someone else know. Drmies (talk) 20:41, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
