For your recent report to AIV which was spot-on. Keep up the good work! xenocidic (talk) 22:21, 9 June 2008 (UTC) |
- One minor suggestion when reporting multiple usernames use something like {{user|Username}}, i.e. Xenocidic (talk · contribs), gives us a quick link to the contribs for faster blockage. I blocked 'em all except for DesignMajorNCSU (talk · contribs), as it wasn't as severe, but I handed out an only warning. xenocidic (talk) 22:21, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. xenocidic (talk) 22:26, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Huggle
editAargh! That's like the 5th time in two days that I've been beat at reverting vandalism by someone using Huggle. Useight (talk) 22:58, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, but look at my stats here. As you can see, it shows 15,000+ edits and my automated edit total shows 0. I really like that zero. Plus, if I start using Huggle, my "average edits per page" will drop substantially. Useight (talk) 23:05, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

editHey, sorry to bother you, but I did some work on an edit, mainly with various sharpenings and that sort of thing. Could you look again and see what you think? Shoemaker's Holiday (talk) 19:27, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Re: Your Image
editFor sure! I'm glad you can use it - it was taken with my little Kodak so the quality is not great but still a nice shot! --Fir0002 22:42, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello. I'm contacting you and other members of WikiProject Books in order to find if you are interested in collaborating to expand and improve The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence article to make it worthy of becoming a featured article candidate, in light of the fact that it is the first book the U.S. government ever went to court to censor before its publication. --Loremaster (talk) 22:12, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

nasal sex

“ | A model — the one that invariably draws most giggles from the exhibition’s younger visitors — shows a male Amazonian river dolphin penetrating another’s blowhole. “This is the only example of nasal sex we have in nature,” Brockman observes. | ” |

- I'm starting to agree with the IP's edit here, although he/she should have dealt with it better. Why were you reverting this under the guise of vandalism? This is a valid sourced statement and probably actually fits the article. I appreciate your vandal-fighting efforts, but this is not vandalism. Tan ǀ 39 15:02, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed, the source seems to indicate that this behaviour exists. I apologize. NauticaShades 15:04, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Historic photographs
editJust to comment, every photochrom I've ever worked with suffered from yellowing. Salt paper prints experience yellowing in an extreme way, and yellowing is common in early twentieth century paper prints. It depends on what medium you work with, of course, because if you only worked with glass colloidons you wouldn't deal with yellowing at all. But it looked really strange to me when you asserted that yellowing is unusual with historic photos. It's pretty much inevitable with several media. DurovaCharge! 02:24, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
