File permission problem with File:FrostholdDevilsRoadshow.JPG

edit

Thanks for uploading File:FrostholdDevilsRoadshow.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:59, 19 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

March 2015

Hello, I'm SummerPhD. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Bane in other media because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! SummerPhD (talk) 18:50, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Tom Hardy, you may be blocked from editing. Returning to a problematic account you abandoned 5 years ago, you just happened to run across three entirely unrelated articles that erroneously have something else in place of the nicknames "big guy"/"little guy" or the descriptive direct quote "bigger guy". That's amazing. Tell me more. SummerPhD (talk) 19:01, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop participating in an edit war by reverting my contributions thanks. ≈ Maurauth (Ravenor) 19:02, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

As explained, you are making unsourced (other than a copyright violation of a song parody), highly unlikely changes. - SummerPhD (talk) 19:06, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop trying to force an edit war because it doesn't fit your POV. Your contributions are not more important than mine! Also it would be polite not to troll through my contributions and stalk each edit. ≈ Maurauth (Ravenor) 19:09, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Aidan Gillen. All available sources give Petyr Baelish's nickname as "Littlefinger". "Little-guy" shows up only in your edits here. I can find no sources calling Bane "Big guy" or describing him as "a bigger guy, for you". Your refusal to source or explain any of your edits is a clear indication of the problem here. SummerPhD (talk) 19:12, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Throw warning templates around all you like, you're already perilously close to breaking 3RR repeatedly. I've posted a ref on the article and that's somehow not good enough? ≈ Maurauth (Ravenor) 19:15, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

The reliable source already cited there says "more menacing". The copyright violation youtube song parody is not "good enough" for anything. - SummerPhD (talk) 19:26, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 19:46, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Clearly mistaken, I was replacing nicknames that were reverted by vandals. For some reason Summer is stalking my edits, IDK if it's due to his POV but he seems very passive agressive and is trying to promote an edit war, luckily I reminded him not to break 3RR! Not sure why it's an indefinite block either?≈ Maurauth (Ravenor) 19:54, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I just checked some of your contributions in 2015 at random, and every single one to articlespace was somewhere between "not helpful" and "vandalism". We don't need that. Huon (talk) 20:03, 8 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

(To be fair, their edit at Wikipedia:Please be a giant dick, so we can ban you was merely not understanding WP:ENGVAR. Other than that, all of their edits were adding variations of "big/little guy" to two unrelated contexts, contrary to cited sources. The personal attack didn't help. - SummerPhD (talk) 20:15, 8 March 2015 (UTC))Reply

Proposed deletion of File:DaveMcPhersonAndBenKonstantinovic.jpg

edit

The file File:DaveMcPhersonAndBenKonstantinovic.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Poor quality file that is orphaned and would have no obvious value in transferring to Commons

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
