Your recent editing history at Wicca shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Please familiarize yourself with how Wikipedia works and use the article talk page instead of reverting explained reverts. HelenOnline 06:32, 18 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Wicca may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • *{{cite book |last1=Aten |first1=James |title=The Truth About Wicca and Witchcraft Finding Your True

Wicca

edit

Please stop adding the Aten book to the article Wicca. It strongly appears that this continual addition is an attempt at promoting the book, which is considered disruptive. Additionally, only books used as sources within the article should be added to that section. If you have any questions, please leave a note on my talk page.   Hello, I'm Huntster. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Wicca because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.   This is your last warning. The next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Wicca, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Huntster (t @ c) 05:05, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

User warning re suspected sock puppetry

edit

Regarding this edit which is identical to several previous reverted edits of yours, please read WP:SOCK. "The general rule is one editor, one account. Do not use multiple accounts to mislead, deceive, or disrupt; to create the illusion of greater support for a position; to stir up controversy; or to circumvent a block, ban, or sanction. Do not ask your friends to create accounts to support you. Do not revive old unused accounts and use them as different users, or use another person's account. Do not log out just to vandalise as an IP address editor." HelenOnline 08:17, 19 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Wicca. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
