I renamed to Buzagli Buzaglio for you. You don't have to delete an article because it is posted at the wrong name. —Random832 21:39, 17 December 2007 (UTC) Thanks very much.--Lopakhin (talk) 01:23, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Cath Template
editThank you for all the work you're doing on Catholic historians. You mention in a couple of edits that you are using the "Cath template". Is that the {{Catholic}} template or is there now a template for converting CE text to Wikipedia?
Thanks again for putting up all those historians. 12:10, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I see now. Thank you for all the articles that you're putting up! JASpencer (talk) 12:12, 20 December 2007 (UTC) - Happy to help.--Lopakhin (talk) 18:18, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Copyright problems
editHello. Concerning your contribution, Barthold Dowe Burmania, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material without the permission of the author. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view.jsp?artid=1609&letter=B. As a copyright violation, Barthold Dowe Burmania appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Barthold Dowe Burmania has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. For text material, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source, provided that it is credible.
If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:
- If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:Barthold Dowe Burmania and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.

However, for text content, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. AecisBrievenbus 16:44, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
ANI thread
editI have raised the issue of copying Jewish Encyclopedia articles to Wikipedia at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User:Lopakhin and the Jewish Encyclopedia, to get some more clarity on Wikipedia:Jewish Encyclopedia topics and Wikipedia:Copyrights. Speedy deletion of James Andrew Corcoran
editA tag has been placed on James Andrew Corcoran requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copyright violation in Andreas Benedict Feilmoser
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Andreas Benedict Feilmoser, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Andreas Benedict Feilmoser is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Andreas Benedict Feilmoser, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 03:01, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Catholic Encyclopedia and copyright
editHave you been noticing a large increase in copyvio speedy deletes added on? One example is Andreas Benedict Feilmoser but I also noticed this with James Andrew Corcoran (plus a notability query - also inappropriately using speedy deletion).

Durrow Abbey
editPlease remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Durrow Abbey, as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' Thank you. Rich257 (talk) 11:37, 24 January 2008 (UTC) - Okay, understood.--Lopakhin (talk) 11:38, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

GA reassessment of Jean Charles de Menezes
editI am posting this as you have made a substantial number of edits to the above. I have conducted a reassessment as part of the GA Sweeps process. I have found a large number of concerns with the article which you can see at Talk:Jean Charles de Menezes/GA1. I have de-listed the article. This decision may be challenged at WP:GAR or the article may be improved and re-nominated at WP:GAN. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 19:14, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hieronymus Medices moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Hieronymus Medices, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The article David ben Joseph Coen Bakri has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
only possible citations are sites that use wikipedia as a biography.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 2006toyotacorrola (talk) 10:47, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
