Kyaa the Catlord
Mostly inactive. I may make an edit or suggestion from time to time, but I'm definitely disinterested in really building an encyclopedia right now. Besides, more people want to tear it apart than build it anyways. Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 12:10, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
I just noticed Collectonian has quit. Anyone up for a happy dance with me? Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 08:45, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Another one bites the dust. Goodbye Jack Merridew, hope the door hits you in the ass on the way out. Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 03:23, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Once upon a time
editOnce upon a time, Kyaa believed in Wikipedia. He wrote some good shit and had fun. He enjoyed working with others to build some interesting articles on some anime that has, sadly, pretty much been forgotten. A couple of those were worked into FA and GA modes. Nowadays, all he does is watch his watchlist and laugh at the drama, especially at the gladitorial arena which is ANI. Better than comedy central. Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 08:27, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
Reverted
editYour comment on my talk page wasn't ignored, and it's one of the thoughts I've had trouble detangling from others. I did ask for a cessation of accusations of bad faith, at least in this one tiny corner, and talk of unhealthy obsessions runs afoul of that. If I left it, you'd have people jumping to my defense, and others jumping to Ikip's, and just a general mess. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire - past ops) 13:09, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- I agree it is a mess and I don't want to add to it. I've asked Ikip to try to disengage from you as well. I think its time to quote Rodney King or something. So I'll shut up now. :P Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 13:25, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- Right now my train of thought goes something like Something feels wrong here -> But I'm not sure what -> If I'm not sure why don't I just let this drop -> Because if I let it drop I'll never be sure -> Am I sure this isn't my own tendency to cling to disputes -> Well I'm not sure because I don't know what it is. And back in a circle.
- I appreciate the advice, even though I'm probably not going to take it for now. If I'm wrong at least you'll get to tell me you told me so. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire - past ops) 13:28, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- I answered one of your questions on your talk page. (And sometimes I have trouble telling if you're joking or being serious. I'm trying to assume joking, cause at this time I don't have a particular problem with you. I did have a problem with that edit summary, but I'm so letting that go. At least I'm bloody trying to!) a note
editRe: your reversal in Dragon Ball: you were right to revert "Usonian" back to "American," but very wrong in your assessment that this was a "silly made-up word." If it's made up, it's made up as much as the word "American" is, and it's far from silly: please see Usonia. The word is, however, used incorrectly in this context. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 04:17, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- The way I intended made up to be taken in that is as a neologism that has pretty much failed to find traction in common usage. Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 06:13, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well, it has found traction, as the WP article and its many modern uses prove--but never as an alternative for "American," which is why I agree with your reversal. Drmies (talk) 15:33, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- Right, used properly it refers to a style of architecture, not a nationality. :D Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 23:11, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Criticism of Bill O'Reilly (political commentator)
editAn editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Criticism of Bill O'Reilly (political commentator). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Criticism of Bill O'Reilly (political commentator) (3rd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:16, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Dear colleague, I just want to wish you a happy, hopefully, extended holiday weekend and nice end to summer! Your friend, --A NobodyMy talk 03:50, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
FYI. This RFC is based on, Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Jack Merridew/Blood and Roses which you participated in. If you already have commented at the RFC, my apologies for contacting you. Ikip (talk) 00:16, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
An article whose AFD you participated in before is up at AFD again
editThe article Kemonomimi has been nominated for AFD a second time. I'm contacting every editor who participated in the first one, since if they were interested in it that time, they'd probably want to know the same exact article is being targeted once again. Your username
editI love the username, did you just think that up one day at random? =p - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 04:42, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, in Please Save My Earth there is an alien named Kyaa who is a giant space cat. In the ancient tome Monster Manual II, their is a deity called the Catlord. And, as we all know, Kyaa is the sound of a girl screaming. Hawt. Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 04:59, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- Oh cool, I was thinking of looking at that manga myself is it good? Hard to find now but I can always search at the cons I goto. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 05:03, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I actually haven't read the manga, but I enjoyed the anime ages ago. Its rather old and dusty. But I really liked it in my youth and well, giant space cats are cool. (One of my favorite authors, and an otaku, Diane Duane featured a race of cat humanoids in the Star Trek universe. How cool is that?) Kyaa the Catlord (talk) 05:06, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
- Very cool there, I was wondering if there was an anime out there with robo anime cats =p. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 05:09, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Deleting the main page
editYou'd need to remove the vertical bar for the link to work properly: "...this..."
(The answer, incidentally, is that it displays a message stating that "You can't delete or move the main page.") Kirill [talk] [prof] 06:36, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
That would make one heck of an april fools day joke, removing the main page and replacing it with the first ever main page wikipedia had =p. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 04:35, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
re: 12 Days
