Welcome back, SarahPhelpsjr. What, exactly, the hell, is your problem? Using fake blogs to attack people? Why, what's going on? You seem to have a beef, but you aren't making clear what it is, because instead of discussion, you prefer vandalism. Stop, please. Func( t, c, @, ) 15:23, 24 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Func, I know Sarah via email and she has told me about this whole thing. If you want to block me because you think I might her pretending to be someone else then do so, but it is not exactly hard for her to get back online, as she has repeatedly shown.

You ask in the post above "You seem to have a beef, but you aren't making clear what it is, because instead of discussion, you prefer vandalism".

I think she stated her point most clearly in the post here:

"

  • Look, why do people on Wikipedia persist in posting large amounts of personal info?
  • There are indeed creepy guys out there, which is why I support the campus Womens' defence organisation.
  • God, what people need to understand is that:
  • using your real name as your username is a poor idea.
  • using your real photo on your userpage is a poor idea.
  • saying your real city on your userpage is a poor idea.
  • saying your real year and month of birth on your userpage is a poor idea."

Furthermore, the blog she made about Gordon Watts, is a tad outlandish I accept. I think she obscures her point by talking a load of rubbish at the top.

But I do think she has made a real point about Gordon's comments regarding the holocaust.

Allowing people who try and pretend that their persecution on wikipedia is as bad as the holocaust is something that I personally find offensive. Yet one fellow seemed to say this, and yet is still editing Wikipedia.

So I think she was saying that

  • 1 Posting large amounts of personal info is a poor idea
  • 2 Making comparisons to the Holocaust is offensive. Allowing people on Wikipedia who do this on Wikipedia is offensive also.

I would kind of agree with her points of view, but the method she has used to get her point across is completely inappropriate, and I stress that I do not condone these methods.

If she has done any other stupid things - she hasn't told me about, but I suspect she may have done if you have blocked her, - then I would view these as inappropriate also.

Kind regards

PS I have talked to Sarah about this, and she has warned me that you may suspect me of being her. I would just like to have a shot at being a sensible editor, as this wikipedia project seems like an interesting idea.
