Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to David Hogg (activist), especially if it involves living persons. Thank you. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 18:29, 14 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Discretionary sanctions alert

edit
This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Request reason:

My account is not in any way linked to user:equivocusmannus, as is alleged. Any admin can see this by viewing the IP logs.

Decline reason:

Speaking as the admin who blocked Equivocasmannus, the similarity in behavior and overlap in edits and interests is convincing. Acroterion (talk) 23:58, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Already challenged, "RobotNinjaPirate". Quite how you think you can get away with hounding me along with your pals is pretty sickening.--HalMartin (talk) 23:22, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Also for reviewing admins, this user has urged other users to commit suicide in the past: Special:Diff/811328340, and edited Lena Dunham's article to describe her as a "fat pig" Special:Diff/903473857 among with other acts of vandalism and personal attacks. Bacondrum (talk) 23:35, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

First off, I did not urge anyone to commit suicide. No fair-minded person would say I did. It was obviously a joke, admittedly in poor taste. As far as the Lena Dunham article, I admit MAYBE I deserve a block for that.--HalMartin (talk) 23:37, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
You absolutely did urge another user to commit suicide: "It must be worth ur dignity. Shame the truth got us Brexit you fucking stooge. Go hang urself" your words, verbatim. Bacondrum (talk) 23:43, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yep, "urself" is leet-speak, commonly used to mean the person saying the words is JOKING.--HalMartin (talk) 23:45, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, suicide is hilarious. Bacondrum (talk) 23:49, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Anything can be funny, anyway, if my block is not rescinded, I will just make another account. Do you not know how fucking easy it is to do that? Grow the fuck up, lol.--HalMartin (talk) 23:52, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
"Grow the fuck up, lol" says the person with nothing better to do than troll Wikipedia. Priceless. Bacondrum (talk) 00:05, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
How much did you get bullied at school?--HalMartin (talk) 00:07, 14 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
