The deletion discussion doesn't mean you did something wrong. In fact, other editors may have useful suggestions on how you can continue editing and improving Hazrat Ali, which I encourage you to do. If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the Help Desk.

Repeated violations of BLP and OR
editI just removed OR and BLP violation that you recently added to an article. According to your talk page you have been warned repeatedly by a large number of members of this community to stop this kind of policy violations. This here is another warning not to disrupt our work. It almost looks like that you work and get paid for this by Joint Task Force Guantanamo. Regards. Birdmight (talk) 23:11, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:USCG Seaman apprentice William R. Flores had a Sentinel class cutter named after him in 2011.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:USCG Seaman apprentice William R. Flores had a Sentinel class cutter named after him in 2011.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. New template
editI have created a new template called Template:PakistanTerrorism which is modelled on other similiar War on Terror templates. Since you are an active contributor to such articles, it would be great if you can improve this template and add more links that you might be aware of. Sardr8 (talk) 03:57, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Secret CIA prison 'Bright Light', in Bucuresti.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Secret CIA prison 'Bright Light', in Bucuresti.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 05:35, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

The United Nations Development Program uses Dahabshiil to transfer money for local programs, said Álvaro Rodríguez, the agency's director for Somalia. 'Such companies provide the only safe and efficient option to transfer funds to projects benefiting the most vulnerable people of Somalia,' he said. 'Their service is fast and efficient.'

In Karachi, he worked for Dahabshiil, an international money-transfer company that has offices in dozens of countries, including the United States. That job, and his flight from Somalia to Pakistan, led to accusations that Barre was 'engaged in hostilities against the U.S.,' according to military documents. 'I am convinced that your branch of the Dahabshiil company was used to transfer money for terrorism,' the presiding officer told him at a hearing in Guantanamo in 2005. Barre said that if any suspect money was transferred from his home office, it was done so unwittingly, and that Dahabshiil is a reputable company operating legally worldwide.

Mogadishu's marketplaces, Bakara and Hamarweyne, bustle with enterprise. Many deals are done in Somali shillings, a currency without a central bank to support it. Local businessmen guess the shilling is kept afloat by "common assent". Remittances in hard currency funnelled through hawala (Islamic word-of-mouth banks) may have more to do with it. The biggest of the banks, Dahabshiil, has offices in 40 countries. It moves a "large share" of the $1 billion or more that Somalis abroad send to relatives back home each year. "We now operate under full banking licences," says Dahabshiil's boss, Abdirashid Duale, who spends much of his time in London.

Help with banned or blocked I.P.s out to POV-push
editHi. I noticed that there is a red-letter editor User talk:Birdmight, whose manner of deleting material in our terrorism-related articles bears familiar hallmarks. I tracked that editor’s contributions, which shows just three edits in one day—all of which was 12 days ago; there has been nothing since. This is an indicator that there might be a tendentious editor operating socks. I note that Birdmight made an edit to a well-cited terrorist-related article (∆ edit, here), which was promptly reverted by User:Buckshot06 (∆ edit, here) with this edit summary revert strange revision - well sourced. If you see more of this sort of thing, where apparent sock accounts are being used to remove true, germane, and properly cited material, please contact me. I will be more than pleased to help establish a consensus if one is lacking. In the case of the edit Buckshot06 reverted, I would have done so myself. Greg L (talk) 05:01, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
