1RR violation at 2024 United States presidential election

edit

Hi, Please be aware that the article 2024 United States presidential election is subject to WP:1RR per active Arbitration enforcement as noted at the top of the Talk page and you violated it by making more than one reversion ([1], [2]) in the time period. Raladic (talk) 15:51, 23 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I was not aware at the time it had been previously reverted and believed I was instating a different idea, so in my view I was making the article neutral for the time being. I even asked people to not edit war over the image until there was a consensus established, in which I was promptly ignored and the image has reappeared despite the talk page discussion not yet concluding.Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 16:03, 23 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article needed taking much further back, the IP you warned seems to me to have been trying to remove vandalism. DuncanHill (talk) 11:39, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Yeah there was something very wrong with the article, the issue was the IP removed everything beyond the lead for the article, So I reinstated a good portion of it. Cheers for taking the initiative to go one step further. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 11:42, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
Looking more closely, I think the IP was doing a mix of adding vandalism and removing it (with bad edit summaries), which makes it very hard to sort out! I'll keep the article on my watchlist. DuncanHill (talk) 11:44, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Battle of M2-XFE

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Battle of M2-XFE requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Battle of M2-XFE. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. It could possibly be moved to the draftspace for the time being. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 20:25, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
