Hello Eric Lotze. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm S0091, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

    Do be bold
    Do assume good faith

Do maintain a neutral point of view
    Don't spam
    Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
    Don't commit vandalism

If you need further help, you can:
    Ask a question
or you can:
    Get help at the Teahouse

Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
    Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
    Help contribute to articles
    Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
    Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost
Translate articles from Wikipedias in other languages

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the   button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Hello! I do a pile of editing over at Open Source Ecology 's Wiki, so i am s o m e w h a t familiar with the process. I keep on encountering stubs / lack of odd abbreviations, so i finally "bit the bullet" and made an account. I'm not any expert, just kind of an enthusiast/nerd, but i guess if there isn't much other stuff on a page my contributions can't hurt. I will need to learn Wikipedia's standards and all that. Also i am nowhere as skilled in all that embedding / formatting as you are! Anyways look foreward to working with the Wikipedia community!

Spray Dryer Absorber moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Spray Dryer Absorber, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks! Are there any sort of "Editor Groups" where i can find people with more knowledge on this topic?

Eric Lotze (talk) 18:54, 2 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Eric, generally speaking, there should be enough reliable sources where knowledge of a particular topic is not needed in order to create an article. In fact, many editors here choose subjects they have little or no knowledge about because learning something new is what makes it interesting to them. If you cannot find enough sources to be able to write about a subject then it is likely the subject is not notable enough to warrant an article. On another note, generally editors will not see your comments here unless you ping them. Your talk page is on my Watchlist because I left you a Welcome message and I just happened to notice your comment. The best place to ask questions is the Teahouse.
