editThe pictures are fine in both the Lagos and Abuja pages. I dont know why you would post the Wiki Administrators message on my talk page as if you were them?? Also, There is Absolutely nothing wrong with the Appartments photos, there is nothing wrong with the Lagos Lagoon photos or any of the abuja photos. My concern is not to decide whether to portray "Nigerians" as "materialistic" by putting photos of recently built nice apartments. But as you can see by visiting the NY, London, Cairo, Jo'Burg Hong Cong ect pages, you dont highlight the cities flaws. On the newyork page you dont see photos of queens ghettos, therefore i dont intend to highlight the slums of Lagos —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.191.237.201 (talk) 18:08, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

editHello contimm, this is Kehz99
This was your message Contimm :
Whilst I appreciate your concern for the Lagos and Abuja pages, if you actually took the time to see my edits, you would see that I removed [1]NO INFORMATION and NO PHOTOS from the page. I removed the dead hyperlinks because they are tacky. If you hyperlink something for which a page does not exist AND you do not take the initiative to start a page, then you are not doing Wikipedia a service. [2]Further, pictures of privately owned apartment blocks (Abuja and Lagos articles) and a grainy picture of the back of someone's head at a Lagos lounge are PRIVATE pictures, and not at all indicative of the cities themselves. My resize of some of the pics related to their disproportionate size vis-a-vis the blocks of texts they sat next to. In addition, [3]I added certain photos (like the Abuja Residential Duplex) to the photo gallery in the article because it did not correspond to any text in the article. [4]Please, do NOT try and tell me not to "undo" the hard work of others.Italic text You might be interested to know that I have personally contributed a substantial amount of time to both the Lagos and Abuja articles, albeit before I signed up for a username. Not only did I not remove anyone's text, but I went to specific pains to leave intact other people's pictures [5]if they were mildly appropriate. I will reinstate my revisions, and you should be forewarned not to undo them without valid reason. I look forward to an intelligent response if you have one to offer.
[1]You did remove at least 5 photos that i uploaded from both pages collectively.
[2]Please if you have time visit the New York CityPage, and scroll down to architecture you will see photos of street side apartment blocks. Those are photos that i myself took and posted on a blog and then was encouraged to update the wiki pages with. There is nothing private about those pictures, many other wiki pages have pictures of apartment blocks. Also the picture of Dinner on the Lagos Lagoon is showing the water and skyline. Nothing private about it. My brothers head is not even barely visible. Also they all show up to date pictures of Lagos as it currently is.
[3] Please when you have time, take another look at my version on the Abuja Pages. All the photos correspond with the textual content.
[4] I ment no disrespect, i was just telling you to please refrain from just undoing my revisions constantly because you feel that they're not good. I really think its up to the wiki administrators to determine what would be mildly appropriate.
[5]The reason for the talks is so that the constant "undo"'s will stop so, please dont continue while we are still trying to work this out.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
