George Thomson (Seoirse Mac Tomáis)
editHi. I just checked if there was an existing article on George Thomson - I thought there might be - and I found one at George Thomson (philosopher). I put a merge tag on the article you created just now. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 00:59, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Just thinking: Actually I think that the merged article shoud work from your article, if you know what I mean. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 01:01, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Couple of points: I've put the merge tag on the second article. These tags can be replaced by "mergefrom" and "mergeto", if we can decide the destination title. Captain, you've been busy - I salute you! I'll just comment that merges are a bit, what, technical. I'll undertake to do it. Charles Matthews (talk) 20:58, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- OK, all sorted out now. I've used the middle name, which is better than either of those two titles. 21:31, 29 November 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Charles Matthews (talk • contribs)
- Actually, I was going to come back to this tonight, as I wasn't sure which name to go for; I'm afraid my brain wasn't up to complicated tasks last night. (:O)) FlowerpotmaN·(t) 22:19, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sound. No bother lads (didn't know how to do redirects anyway). Captain Fearnought (talk) 21:58, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Robin Flower
editHi Charles, I just changed 'Robin Flower' to Robin Flower (Bláithín) so I hope you have no objection to it. Great to see other people aware of him anyway. Captain Fearnought (talk) 23:50, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I don't understand this move. Names inside parentheses are meant for disambiguation but there is no other article by the name of Robin Flower so disambiguation is unnecessary. —Wknight94 (talk) 12:59, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I've now handled this in a more conventional way. Namely, I've put Bláithín in the article text, created a redirect, and moved the page back. Thanks for bringing this up. Charles Matthews (talk) 20:51, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

editThe Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Liam Neeson". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 24 January 2012.
Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.
