Discretionary sanctions alert
editPlease carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding transgender issues and paraphilia classification (e.g. hebephilia), a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.MOS:IDENTITY is being revisited: How should Wikipedia refer to transgender individuals before and after their transition?
editYou are being contacted because you contributed to a recent discussion of MOS:IDENTITY that closed with the recommendation that Wikipedia's policy on transgender individuals be revisited.
Two threads have been opened at the Village Pump:Policy. The first addresses how the Manual of Style should instruct editors to refer to transgender people in articles about themselves (which name, which pronoun, etc.). The second addresses how to instruct editors to refer to transgender people when they are mentioned in passing in other articles. Your participation is welcome. Serbia national cricket team
editI saw you stripped down the page Serbia national cricket team with intentions to improve at a later time. I'm not trying to impose or be disrespectful, but that was a few months ago now. It had some good information on it. Although it was obviously not written in a good format, I think a lot of it was useful. Do you think you'd be able to expand the page next time you have an opportunity? Again, I respect you as an editor and would like to see several sports pages expanded. That's all, thank you. :) JTtheOG (talk) 01:05, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Cricket India Crest.svg
editHi Bozzio. The non-free usage of File:Cricket India Crest.svg in Indian national cricket team was discused at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 February 18#File:Cricket India Crest.svg. The closing administrator of that discusion was Explicit and he was the one who removed the file from the article and the corresponding non-free use rationale from the file's page. There is a record of this deiscussion listed on File talk:Cricket India Crest.svg at the top of this page. If you disagree with Explicit's close and would like him to reconsider it, then you should discuss it at User talk:Explicit or follow the instructions listed at WP:CLOSECHALLENGE. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:36, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- There is only one person involved in that discussion – you. Looking through the history of the India national cricket team article it seems you've been edit warring on this issue for a while. Wikipedia works on consensus, the burden is on you to gain support for your position not to unilaterally delete images that have been in place for years. Thanks, ¡Bozzio! 04:39, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- I did not close the discussion, an admnistrator did. I didn't delete the image, it was only removed from one of the articles by said administrator. If you wish to challenge the close, then you should discuss it with Explicit. If you wish to challenge the way the policy was interpreted by Explicit, you should dicuss it at WT:NFCC. As for the "burden", WP:NFCCE clearly says that the burden is on those willing to use a non-free image in an article to show that said usage satisfies WP:NFCCP by providing a valid non-free use rationale, not the other way around. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:59, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 19
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Friday Zico, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sudanese Civil War. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

"Current person" template
editHi, Bozzio. I saw you deleted the "current person" template on the Tim Kaine page. You acted in good faith - and correctly - because I feel that the story of him being chosen as Hillary Clinton's running mate has run its course, at least here on Wikipedia. Thanks!
It was added originally because it was a huge news story at the time, and resulted in a flurry of edits to his page. But the page is stable, despite a few bad faith edits which have already been dealt with. I just wanted to clarify that the template was not intended to be left there through the November election. Again, thanks for all of your efforts here on Wikipedia. I mean that sincerely.Juneau Mike (talk) 19:06, 23 July 2016 (UTC)

A page you started (List of U.S. state governors born outside the United States) has been reviewed!
editThanks for creating List of U.S. state governors born outside the United States, Bozzio!
Wikipedia editor Airplaneman just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:
Interesting list! One thing: it's got no references, which is concerning to me because it lists a lot of currently living people. If you used any sources to create this article, could you please cite them? Thanks, Airplaneman ✈ 08:18, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
