editPlease do not insert fringe or undue weight content into articles, as you did to Do What U Want. An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject. Please use the article's talk page to discuss the material and its appropriate weight within the article. Thank you. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 08:24, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 11
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tropico (EP), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paradise (EP) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 17:41, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
December 2013
edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Beyoncé (album). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. livelikemusic my talk page! 17:43, 13 December 2013 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Beyoncé (album), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 17:54, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
- The complaint at WP:AN3#User:Artpop - volume 2 reported by User:IndianBio (Result: Warned) has been closed with a warning to you. If you continue to revert about hidden tracks on this album, you may be blocked. Use discussion to try to get consensus for your changes. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:47, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
Warning. You made a number of edits to this article, many of which violated policy and some of which violated guidelines. First, you copied and pasted text from sources directly into the article, which is a copyright violation. You risk being blocked if you continue to do that in this or any other article. Second, some of the material you added to the article was not supported by any source. Particularly in WP:BLP articles, sourcing is required. Third, much of your language was unencyclopedic (possibly because it was copied from elsewhere - I didn't check every one of your edits for copyright violations): using the word "gonna" outside of a quote? Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the policies and guidelines that control the use of Wikipedia so your edits are compliant with them. I'm going to leave a message after I'm done posting this with links to those policies and guidelines.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:55, 15 December 2013 (UTC)

- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Beyoncé (album)
editPlease do not add or change content without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —JennKR | ☎ 00:16, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Also just a note to let you know that when citing sources you must do so fully. As in, you simply can't just use the bare URL, e.g. <ref>www.avclub.com/review/beyonces-surprise-album-is-her-most-substantial-an-200652</ref>. Have a read over WP:CITE to see how you can do this easily with the "Template" drop-down bar. Cheers! —JennKR | ☎ 00:18, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
- Please stop adding unsourced content. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. —JennKR | ☎ 00:27, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

Edit warring at Beyoncé (album)

. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
The full report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Artpop - volume 2 reported by User:Bbb23 (Result: 48 hours). EdJohnston (talk) 05:09, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of Brexx (talk · contribs · global contribs · page moves · user creation · block log) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Lanatropicoepcover.png
editThank you for uploading File:Lanatropicoepcover.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:29, 30 September 2016 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Tropicoposter.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Tropicoposter.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:36, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
