Teahouse manual archiving

edit

Just so you know, the archiving bots use dates in signatures to determine when a thread is old enough to archive. Since the thread you archived didn't have any visible signatures, the bots would have ignored it indefinitely. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:16, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I figured that might be the case, @Ivanvector. I was a little curious to see if the thread would still be lingering there when I "came back" to Wikipedia after the holidays - and it was.   57.140.16.1 (talk) 16:20, 2 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much @DoubleGrazing! Boy was that quick. 57.140.16.1 (talk) 16:00, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely my pleasure – and like you, I couldn't believe there wasn't an article on this already!
What a joy, also, to review a draft of such quality, it's not often we see work of this calibre at AfC (more's the pity). I didn't need to do anything other than accept it, which is probably a first. (Tell a lie, I did add the italic title tag, but we'll call that a beauty spot.)
Thank you for creating this! Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:11, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
A toast to Harold Bloom, wherever he is - hopefully in Arthur's bosom, drinking with Falstaff.   57.140.16.1 (talk) 17:46, 1 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I answered your question. Anyway, I suggest you consider opening an account for reasons said previously by other user. Kind regards 14 novembre (talk) 17:23, 9 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

No thanks, @14 novembre - I've avoided opening one for many years and intend to continue my winning streak for as long as possible.   57.140.16.1 (talk) 17:25, 9 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok, it was just a suggestion. Feel free to do what you prefer. Kind regards. 14 novembre (talk) 17:33, 9 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
