  • Source: |source= – to accept {{PMID}} and {{DOI}} as well as URLs and plain text
  • Primary vs secondary: |type= Primary, secondary, tertiary. Ideally, |type=secondary will return "checkY Secondary source". Unknown should return the value. Missing or empty values should return a ?.
  • Date of publication: |date= 5 years or less is good. More than 5 but 10 or less is maybe okay. More than 10 is probably bad. Calculation should err on the generous side (5 years 11 months = still five years). Unknown should return the value. Silence should return a ?.
  • Journal reputation: |journal= Return the name. (Link to article?)
  • Publisher: |publisher= Maybe a set list of usually good (e.g., Elsevier, Wiley). Short list for individual review (i.e., MDPI, Frontiers, Hindawi). Maybe a long list of known-bad. Otherwise, return the value. (Link to article?)

  • Pre-clinical vs human: |human= yes is good, no is bad, silence should make the whole line invisible.
  • Independence: |independence= yes is good, no is bad, unknown should return the value, silence should return a ?.
