London School of Marketing (informally LS) is a private business school based in London, United Kingdom. It offers qualifications awarded by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Communications, Advertising and Marketing Foundation (CAM), as well as MBA, Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programmes in marketing, corporate training and one day Masterclasses. London School of Marketing's academic programmes are currently validated by partner institutions, including Anglia Ruskin University. Tuition is offered across a range of study modes, such as full-time, part-time evenings, part-time weekends and online learning.

London School of Marketing's head offices are based in Hyde Park Corner, Central London. Lectures are held at Imperial College London, University College London and Birkbeck, University of London. In addition, the school has offices in Colombo, Sri Lanka, as well as a growing number of Overseas Support Branches (OSBs). Having offered professional and academic qualifications to UK and international students for over a decade, they are now investing heavily in online learning technology.

London School of Marketing is a registered member of The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), the British admission service for students applying to university and college. [1]

History

London School of Marketing was founded by their Director Paul Penman in 2002. It began as a provider of CIM and CAM Foundation programmes which lead onto professional qualifications. Later, it expanded to provide undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in partnership with other higher education institutions. London School of Marketing is registered with the UK Border Agency (UKBA) as a Highly Trusted Sponsor (HTS). The school is licensed by the UKBA to sponsor non EEA nationals or non Swiss nationals via the Tier 4 route of the points based system. They have demonstrated the highest level of compliance with regards to their sponsor obligations and have been awarded HTS status by the UKBA. [2]

As a result of London School of Marketing's Review for Educational Oversight, carried out in May 2012, the Quality Assurance Agency for higher education (QAA) review team found “that there can be confidence in how London School of Marketing manages its stated responsibilities for the standards of the awards it offers on behalf of The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Anglia Ruskin University, the Association of Business Practitioners and the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality.

“The team also considers that there can be confidence in how the provider manages its stated responsibilities for the quality and enhancement of the learning opportunities it offers on behalf of this awarding body and these awarding organisations.”

The team also identified good practice in the “accessibility of a fully developed and systematically enhanced e-learning platform that provides an extensive 'one stop' resource for information to support learning and enhance achievement.” [3]
