I was a public school in Minnesota for 25 years. I taught most subjects, but my main interest was in history. When Wikipedia was a new thing 20 years ago, I became involved with a professor from Southwest State University in Marshal, Minnesota. His goal was to recruit and teach a group of us how to use and edit Wikipedia, so that we could create and edit pages on the history, geography, culture, etc., of Southwest Minnesota. I focused mainly on my home-county of Nobles County, Minnesota.
I am disappointed in recent years that the great small-D democratic promise of Wikipedia has become hijacked by internet trolls.
My work includes
