This page was a questionnaire for a failed 2012 project to investigate "civility" on Wikipedia.
Having recently been reminded of it, I think I would probably respond differently in some parts.
The page now serves no purpose is now a repository for stolen quotes on the general subject.
The civility rules in Wikipedia are mainly a weapon to use to gain the upper hand over someone who holds a viewpoint you would prefer to suppress, and they continue to be used for that purpose.
