I'm an avid reader og Wikipedia and would like to become more active in contributing and editing articles. Time is my biggest enemy, but most of us seem to suffer from time constraints to a more or lesser degree these days!
I have a variety of interests. The first is, of course, the martial arts. Hence the username. I'm an avid practitioner of a variety of martial arts. I know a reasonable amount about Chinese, Japanese, Korean and some South East Asian arts. In spite of my passion for these, I grow very quickly tired of individuals and organisations which promote "realistic" fighting arts. It is the traditions, discipline and complexity of the arts which makes them interesting.
I run a business in Australia and have a variety of interests pertaining to this. I am also engaged in local politics in the area in which I live (East Coast Australia). I hold several degrees and certificates at various levels from well renowned Australian and English institutions. Though hardly an intellectual giant or hard-hitter, I feel that I possess the knowledge and personal resources to contribute meaningfully to Wikipedia. Kungfufyr 10:11, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
