Occupation
editI'm a writer and retired college faculty in literature, and in my checkered past, mathematics.
Potential COIs
editBefore my retirement in 2013, I had been employed by the University of Oregon and by Lane Community College. When I first began editing Wikipedia, I substantially edited the LCC article without being aware of Wikipedia's COI guidelines. I recognize that COI may involve sub-conscious or unintentional advocacy; thus, I welcome review of these articles by other editors and related conversations on the articles' talk pages.
In the interest of transparency, I disclose that I have also been affiliated with these Institutions: Lamont Library, Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, Pellissippi State Community College, Pitzer College, Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, University of Tennessee, and the University of Washington.
