Background
editEmeraldRange is a Wikipedia editor from Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. He has a background in Urban Planning from a university in the U.S. and worked in a large Southeast Asian collection of a library. However, his contributions and interests are largely in geography, Administrative Divisions of Myanmar and the History of Myanmar. He has worked, in the past, with the Yangon City Development Committee and the Yangon Region Government on urban wards and have researched Southeast Asian History both academically and for the purpose of modding Civilization 5.
He has coalesces information from what he believes to be easily accessible sources, such as the Myanmar Information Management Unitsad red link, to expand articles that are "low-hanging fruit." Emerald is known to be a WikiBear making large or easy edits for underrepresented and undervisited pages about Myanmar. He will occasionally be bolder and edit a useful page relevant to modern politics and interests, such as the Myanmar civil war (2021–present).[1] Others are welcomed to slap him with a trout for egregious editing.
