Notability in doubt?
editHi I notice this article has been deleted before and I'd like to explain why this musician is notable and his article should not get deleted in the future. He is pretty much one of best known artists of Kosovo, Albania and the Albanian part of Macedonia and fills more than one of the notability qualifications:
Criteria for musicians he fills:
1. Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself.
- He has been the subject of multiple published works from independent sources in the Kosovo and Albania Mainstream media newspapers and TV stations. This is easily verifiable if you simply visit "Gazeta Express", "Telegrafi", "Zeri" (run by notable three time UNDP winner journalist and editor Arbana Xharra) etc. These are pretty much the major news sources of Kosovo and Albania but he is reported on all of the other ones as well.
- He is mentioned in the German Hip Hop Book called "Hip Hop: Kultur - Music - Gesschichte" by Dirk Franke https://www.amazon.de/Hip-Hop-Kultur-Musik-Geschichte/dp/3866400039. You can see the part about him in this http://zeri.info/showbiz/22264/unikkatil-me-tba-ne-historine-boterore-te-hip-hop-it-foto/ Zeri article.
2. Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart.
- His track "A Nive" was number 1 in the charts of Itunes Switzerland upon release.
4. Has received non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country.
- Under references you will see coverage of his concert tour in Kosovo. One TV station is that of "TV KLAN" and the other is that of "RTK" (Radio Televizoni i Kosoves) these are the major TV stations of the country.
12. Has been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or TV network.
- The Major TV stations of Kosovo frequenty upload their programs on YouTube as well and you can see some programs from Klan here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Unikkatil+tv+klan. He is talked about frequently.
Under ENTERTAINERS again he fills more than one qualification:
1. Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions.
- Has had multiple notable stage performances
2. Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following.
- See his facebook page https://www.facebook.com/kingunikkatil/ he has over 600k followers on facebook. Also visit his music on youtube i.e. "Kuq E Zi" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Gz6bIkVPf0 has over 100k comments and 11+ million views "U Qova Pi Vorri" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PamcatPNPM has over 60k comments and over 9 million views. If this doesn't show a significant fan base I don't know what does.
He is as notable as it gets for Albanians.JoeTBA (talk) 02:40, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
