Summary Table

edit

Rather than squabbling over our own wants. Let us try to meet half way. Currently Qjtv2911, you've edited the table replacing Eliminated (Week X) to nth place. I think, we need to remove that. So, I'll revert your edits first, then we will make a consensus over what changes will we apply to the summary table.

Color key
  – Contestant was in the bottom two/three and had to sing again in the final showdown
  – Contestant was in the bottom three but received the fewest votes and was immediately eliminated
  – Contestant received the fewest public votes and was immediately eliminated (no final showdown)
  – Contestant received the most public votes

I think ranking them will be redundant as they are eliminated chronologically. So we really don't need that. What I was thinking about was placing backgrounds on each contestants names. Background colors will denote to what category they belong. Also, if you wanted to change the style in any of the sections of article, please suggest them first here. Let us reach a consensus first before applying changes. This will prevent any revert wars.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 13:17, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I agree with that consensus. I have saw many different types of elimination chart, I noticed that when a contestant is safe you do not put any word or background color on that specific cell. Qjtv2911 (talk) 13:30, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I saw that too in American Idol summary tables. However, I think it is unnecessary for us to apply that.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 13:44, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
We should better not apply the category colors in the summary table. The finalist table had already identified the acts and the mentors on what category they are into. So, for that we will made no more changes in the table.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 14:11, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Notes:

^Note 1 : Before the first performance night, A.K.A. Jam was formerly known as the Lucky Girls.
^Note 2 : After the judges' votes ended in a Deadlock, the act with the lowest SMS votes will be automatically eliminated. Mark Mabasa was eliminated after receiving 3.72% of all SMS votes; on the other hand, Take Off received 3.90% thus saving the group from being eliminated.

See how the table will look like if we added the colors. It is ugly to look at.--Renzoy16 | Contact Me 14:13, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Dual Song Table Format

Act No. 2 2 "Song" (original artist) Safe
Act No. 3 3 "Song" (original artist) Safe
Act No. 4 4 "Song" (original artist) Bottom Two
Act No. 5 5 "Song" (original artist) Safe

I think this table is much more okay:
Act Order First Song (original artist) Order Second Song (original artist) Result
Act No. 1 1 "Song" (original artist) 6 "Song" (original artist) Bottom Two
Act No. 2 2 "Song" (original artist) 7 "Song" (original artist) Safe
Act No. 3 3 "Song" (original artist) 8 "Song" (original artist) Safe
Act No. 4 4 "Song" (original artist) 9 "Song" (original artist) Bottom Two
Act No. 5 5 "Song" (original artist) 10 "Song" (original artist) Safe
Final Showdown details
Act No. 4 1 "Song" (original artist) Eliminated
Act No. 1 2 "Song" (original artist) Saved

I think that table is not proportioned especially when the title or original artist is very long. Its width and length are not proportioned. Qjtv2911 (talk) 03:11, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

The X Factor Series Format

edit

Please don't change the x factor series format.. We should follow it.. Yes, there is no consensus in the wiki project that we can make a new format but it would be more okay if we uses the format of UK and US. Qjtv2911 (talk) 22:24, 7 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
