I'd like to see elaboration on the origins section and recent events sections. As it reads, this article is primarily a rehash of the civic journalism article. While important, that doesn't do justice to 140 years of newspapers in Wichita. --Frankie Rae (talk) 20:14, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Agreed, though the completely unsourced "Civic journalism" section -- apparently a personal polemic -- appears more than a bit self-adulating. And it presumes that a single individual, in a single era, created the moral and civic elevation of the Eagle -- which has, in fact, been a primary influential force in the community and state ever since the city's founding. ~ Zxtxtxz (talk) 22:27, 18 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
