editRemoved reference to four Tearfund staff being killed by grenade in Pakistan as only supporting reference I can find implies that people killed were two US citizens (one of whom worked at the American embassy, and three others including a local. (see telegraph world news article. Tearfund staff were present at the service, but none is reported here as having been killed. Sbfast (talk) 07:12, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
Acronym
editAlthough this article does point out that TEAR fund stands for The Evangelical Alliance Relief fund, I think it might be improved if it were mentioned earlier in the article that TEAR is an acronym. Vorbee (talk) 17:10, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
Notability
editI believe that particularly the advocacy work of Tearfund has generated enough independent news coverage to establish notability. I'll add a few more references there, and then plan to remove the notability template from the page. I agree there are still too many primary sources overall on the page, so that one will stay.
