Is this a scrubbed article?
editThis article doesn't list anything about the public outcry during the botched release. It doesn't mention the game being played online-only. This was quite a big deal. John Moser (talk) 19:29, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
Bluefoxicy I believe you are thinking of Sim City 2013, not Sim City 4; this game never had an online component and essentially predated most "online gaming". With that said, attention does need to be paid to the controversy surrounding EA's use of modded content (NAM mod, various BATs and lots) to advertise their game - even though their official position is not being supportive of modding: https://web.archive.org/web/20221222180229/https://www.ea.com/games/simcity/simcity-4 99.242.204.153 (talk) 18:06, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
