Joe Higgins link
editThe link is wrong. It is not connected to the actor. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0383414/ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.216.193.221 (talk) 22:00, 22 March 2007 (UTC).
Wrong name?
editEverything I see about this show lists it as "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters", but I distinctly remember it as "Sigmund the Sea Monster", especially since the theme song goes: "Sigmund, the sea monster, and Johnny and Scott are friends ....". Any ideas? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Michael.Urban (talk • contribs) 18:09, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- I am all but certain that "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters" is correct. But regarding the song...I too remember the line "Sigmund, the sea monster, and Johnny and Scott are friends ...."-- at least I remember my brother and I singing it that way. But none of the episodes I taped off a Nick-at-Night marathon have any such song. The title song was Johnny Whitaker singing about how there's nothing like a day on the beach, and the closer ran "You gotta run, you gotta hide, we gotta keep you out of sight...something-something Sigmund". (This might have been in the opener too but I'm not sure.) So I wonder where we all got "Sigmund, the sea monster, and Johnny and Scott are friends ...." I wonder if was an original run vs. syndication thing, or 1st season vs. 2nd. PurpleChez (talk) 17:01, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
The show was definitely called "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters". I remember it clearly. -Dr. Mobius —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.12.153.43 (talk) 05:36, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
Stranger
editI would argue that this most certainly does follow the common Krofft scenario of a stranger in a strange land, with that stranger of course being Sigmund. PurpleChez (talk) 17:01, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
