Flynn sentence in fourth paragraph of lead?
editThis sentence in the fourth paragraph of the lead doesn't seem to flow with the preceding paragraph or the next sentence in the fourth paragraph:
"Powell claimed that Flynn was framed by a covert "deep state" operation, and has promoted personalities and slogans associated with the QAnon conspiracy theory."
I am new to this article . . . the flow just doesn't seem to work here.
Overall the lead section seems too long and doesn't flow well. Utahredrock (talk) 03:04, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- I just tried to unscramble it. Didn't change much wording, mainly moved sentences around. YoPienso (talk) 06:38, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- Too many details are in the lead. Nothing about James Brown is in the body. Lots of work to do here, but I don't have the time. YoPienso (talk) 14:22, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
State bar of Texas arguments dismissed
editThe Fifth District of Texas Court of Appeals in Dallas, led by a three-judge panel, all Democrats, concluded that the State Bar of Texas’ arguments were without merit.

Sydney Powell
editI don't think it's appropriate that Sydney Powell redirects here. Sydney Powell is in the news right now for appealing her conviction for stabbing her mother to death.[1] I suspect most people searching on "Sydney Powell" are looking for the murderer, not the attorney. Where is her picture?
editDidn't this article used to have one? 74.104.154.171 (talk) 17:58, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- I've re-added the one freely-licensed photo of her that seems to be available. It's not a great photo, but it's what we've got. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 19:09, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- It's a terrible photo! Also I would be surprised if this really has been licensed CC by its author. The original source is youtube and is dead now so it's impossible to check. GA-RT-22 (talk) 21:50, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- So the author is listed as "Epoch Times", and their web site says "All Rights Reserved." Here is an archived copy [2] and it has no license notice. I can pretty much guarantee this was pirated. GA-RT-22 (talk) 22:00, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- The archived YouTube pages show that it was released on YouTube under CC-BY, although I see now that there is also "All rights reserved" in the YouTube description. I'll start a discussion on Commons about the licensing. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 15:34, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
