Dear Sirs,
Please note that the River Nadder is not designated a chalk stream by The Environment Agency as it runs of greensand rather than the chalk. I am pointing this out as by incorrectly catergorising the river as a chalk stream will mislead anglers and other interested parties. Unlike true chalkstreams this river cannot be fished with a dry fly after summer rains.
I trust this helps to clarify matters relating to this stream.
